Trying to provision a device getting mirage could not detect the target device disk

We are trying to deploy Mirage to a LIVA PC. It is only UEFI boot, no legacy boot.. We are using the USB WinPE method. It simply does not see the disk. Any ideas?

In Mirage We are working only with Fixed Drives, the Storage in the Liva PC is eMMC Storage, we don't support this specific Storage that is in the Liva PC so you will not be able to provision the machine via BMP.
I can offer some troubleshooting steps hopefully you will be able to resolve this issue:
In the LIVA Mini-Pc:
Set the boot mode to use UEFI and not CSM (Compatibility Support Module) in your UEFI firmware settings.
Temporarily disable Secure Boot in your UEFI firmware settings. Some motherboards will not boot from a USB unless you do this first. When the Windows installation is finished, you can enable secure boot if you like.
If you have fast boot or ultra-fast boot enabled in your UEFI firmware (if supported), then you may need to temporarily disable it until Windows has finished installing to be able to boot from a USB flash drive at boot.
When Creating the WinPe Bootable ISO\Wim:
Verify that you added the eMMC Disk Drivers to the WimPE When Creating the Image.

Getting "Internet Connect Could not open the communication device"

I am getting a pop up showing "Internet Connect - Could not open the communication device."
Why is this? I have never got it before and after awhile my internet works just fine. I am trying to understand why it's popping up. The wireless networks I connect to are always working fine but my computer is just now giving me this pop up.
Please help. Thank you.

you could try moving either file one at a time, don't delete them though
if moving the files and restarting does not fix the problem you can always put them back to the original location, it's just settings files
possibly you'd need to setup your network prefernces again
also, in System Preferences, click on Accounts pane, then your user name (you may need a password for that)
on the right side of the Accounts window there is "Login Items" tab, see if anything shows up in login items
as a guess, machine tries to connect by looking for your cell phone to use as a modem or something
maybe check Network preference pane, see what shows up in Bluetooth

Figuring it must be something weird happening to the suspend procedure, I wanted to skip it and boot normally. So I pressed Enter... to no avail.

Now, I'm starting to think its not just due to the suspend procedure and maybe something more. Afterall, I did not suspend, I rebooted. I remember updating the kernel, klibc and perhaps udev.
I wanted to try adding the rootdelay thing but the grub menu wouldn't show up.
Sobs..
I really need to research on failsafe fallback procedures... some kind of ultimate undo feature.

"Adobe Captivate could not detect a recording device ..."

Adobe Captivate shows my Snowflake USB microphone but doesn't record sound from it. When I choose Calibrate I get "Adobe Captivate could not detect a recording device". However, I can record from the microphone in all my other apps (Rosetta Stone, Sony SoundForge, etc.), so I know it's not a hardware issue.
When I go to "Sound" in Vista Pro's "Sound" option on control panel the Microphone is chosen as the default recording device, and I see the bars moving up and down when I talk.
What can I do to get "Captivate" to see the Mic?
A temporary workaround I found is to plug the Microphone into my laptop, then select SPDIF in as the input source. Captivate still gives the "... could not detect a recording device..." error, but the sound records anyway. This is kludgy, however.

You may well just be out of luck. I heard Captivate 2 and Vista Pro used together. I don't believe Captivate was fully compliant with Vista until version 3. So that may explain things.
Unless someone pops in with a better idea, you should be able to record the audio separately, save as WAV or MP3 and import into your slides.

I use a dial up connection. Everytime I try to connect to the internet, after it dials a message box pops up that says "Could Not Open the Communication Device". Has anyone else had this problem? And how do I fix it?

I found this in Mac Help:
If you haven't entered your network settings, open Network preferences, choose your modem port (internal or external) from the Show pop-up menu, and enter the settings provided by your ISP, such as the access phone number, your user name, and your password.
You can also use the Network Setup Assistant to help you enter network settings. Click "Assist me" in the Network pane of System Preferences and follow the onscreen instructions.
Also verify that the number you are dialing is correct.
Try this too.
Some ISPs may require a PPP connection terminal script to connect to the Internet using a modem. If it is required, contact your ISP for the terminal script
To use a PPP connection terminal script follow these steps:
In the Finder, navigate to the Library folder on your startup disk.
If the Library folder does not contain a Terminal Scripts folder, you will need to create it. Choose File menu > New Folder, and name the new folder "Terminal Scripts."
Copy the terminal script file from your ISP to the Terminal Scripts folder.
To activate the terminal script, choose Apple menu > System Preferences.
Click Network and choose your modem port (internal or external) from the Show pop-up menu.
Select the PPP tab and click the PPP Options button.
Choose your connection script from the Terminal Script pop-up.
Click OK and then click Apply Now.
If the Terminal Script pop-up menu is dimmed, then the script is not being recognized. Check that the script is valid, and it is installed in the correct location.

Supressing the "Could not open the communication device" message

Hello,
Lately whenever I connect to the internet, an Internet Connect window pops up with the message "Could not open the communication device." The connection, however, is fine, and I have no problems accessing the internet.
I've been clicking "OK" to this message several times whenever I connect to the internet but it's become tedious and I'd like to supress it. Can anyone help me?
20" Intel Core 2 Duo iMac Mac OS X (10.4.10) I'm using a Linksys WRT54GL to connect wirelessly.

Check to see what is checked ON in Network>Show:>Network Port Configurations, and drag the one used for Internet to the top of the list at least.
I think there must be another one checked ON and above the one that actually connects... dunno for sure yet though.

The Remote Desktop Connection Broker server could not enumerate the targets for the provider named NULL from the database.

When I try to install Connection Broker on a Windows 2012 R2 Server in a Windows 2003 domain I get this error:
The Remote Desktop Connection Broker server could not enumerate the targets for the provider named NULL from the database.
Pooled virtual desktop collection name: NULL
Error: Logon to the database failed.
I have added both the Connection Broker server and the 2 remote desktop servers (also Windows 2012 R2 Servers) to the "Windows Authorization Access Group" in the domain according to this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331951
But it still does not work :-(
I keep getting same error....
Any idea what I might be missing ?

Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
Firstly please let us know by which method you have setup RDS role. You can have more advantage and feature when you will install with Standard deployment instead of Quick start deployment. So if you have setup with quick start option then you can try installing
with standard type and check the result.
In addition, please check SQL server database is properly configured for RDS server. Also check that domain controller properly communicates. Kindly go through below thread for more information.

Hi All, I made changes in source from oracle datatype to flat datatype then i changed again to oracle datatype.after that i tried to execute the task,i couldnt execute,below error shown. After Saving File get Message "Could not find the included template"

I have a strange issue going on and it's becoming very, very annoying. When I edit a file on our web server (it's a virtual machine running Windows Server 2008) and then try to view it in my browser, I get the error message "Could not find the included template". If I refresh the page (sometimes upwards of 40 times) my page with whatever changes I made will finally load. I checked with our system administrator and he's not aware of what could be causing this.
It happens on whatever the most recent file I was working on. If it's a ColdFusion file, I get the "Could not find the included template" error. If it's a change to my stylesheet, the styles will not load. Again, in both instances it takes hitting F5 upwards of 40 times until the page displays correctly.
Has anybody else ever encountered such an issue? It's happening on two separate virtual servers (both Win 2008), one has CF9 installed and the other CF10. It get's frustrating having to referesh before the page or stylesheet get picked up. Any help or suggestions are appreciated!

Why do I sometimes get "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding" with WiFi but not cellular?

When my iPad is connected to the internet via WiFi I can pretty much browse without problems. However, there are certain instances where a web page is requested and I get, after a bit of time passes, “Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding”. Repeated attempts to access these web pages via WiFi connection always yield the same results. However, if I turn off WiFi I can access the same pages almost instatntly via cellular connection. Any suggestions?
