Trying to purchase whole album but I tunes allow only single tracks to be purchased.

I am trying to purchase an album "Teenage Dirtbags" on i tunes but comes up saying: " Your purchase could not be completed, for assistance contact I tunes support" but the weird thing is I can purchae individual songs on the album, can anybody advise why this would happen and if I need to do something in order to purchase the whole album.

You told me its because its Explicit and cant download such tracks but this cant be the case as I have downloaded single tracks with the E symbol meaning Explicit on the same album.

Purchased whole album but only one song available for download

Some time ago purchased album Vēl Viena Klusā Daba by Prāta Vētra. From the whole album only one song is available for download.
Tried to delete and re-download. Remaining songs also not available under downloadable items.

You can only purchase content from your own country's store - if your account is not based in the UK (and you are not in the UK) then you won't be able to buy content from there. Is the album available on other music download purchase sites in your country ? You could try contacting Apple to say that you want it adding to your store, but ultimately it's the distributor/record company that will have to grant Apple a license to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

I accidentally pressed download to the whole album but I only wanted one song??? Help please ??

I was on iTunes on my iPhone and I accidentally pressed the download for the whole album! But I only want ONE song!! Of course it's one of those DJ songs where all 10 songs the same. ( who wants all of those) . Now my whole iTunes card is gone too! Please is there a way to fix this!! Ill never buy music on my phone again!

Actually most of the album is paused in my download box if that helps??

Ipod duplicates an album, but itunes shows it only once.

Mi ipod touch has started to duplicate several albums, but my itunes only shows a single copy. The difference between the 2 albums is that one copy will have several tracks missing while the other will be complete. If I delete the one with missing tracks from the ipod it deletes those tracks from the other album, so I end up with just 2 or 3 tracks. I have tried deleting it in itunes and syncing the ipod and then re-adding the album to itunes. This is just a waste of time as it always re-syncs the ipod with both copies again. If anyone can help I would be greateful.

I have this exact same problem.. exactly.. and it breaks my balls. I am not OCD about songs, but it's nice to be able to put all the songs of one artist on, without whole albums being repeated with other albums missing songs like you said. I hope someone cleans this act up for us. Peace
UPDATE: I might have figured it out... randomly some songs in an album are marked as "part of compilation". It turns out this is messing everything up! when you untick it and add them back into your ipod.. ORDER IS RESTORED!! YES!!! i was losing sleep with this ****. x

An easy way to delete a whole album without having to select it's tracks?

I have only been using iTunes for the past week after purchasing an iPod Nano, and am used to using Wmp 11. In Wmp 11, if you want to delete an album from your local library or dap, you can just right-click the album art and select 'delete'- job done.
However, in iTunes, I have found I have to make sure my Artist and Album categories are shown at the top of my track list (by clicking the 'eye' button at the bottom right), select the album so just that albums tracks are displayed, select one of the tracks, then Ctrl+A to highlight all the tracks, then press Del. Is there something I am missing here? I have checked the iTunes help, and can't see any other way of deleting a whole album without having to highlight all the albums tracks.
Any help would be appreciated.

Blimey! Why didn't I think of that? Especially as I knew to press the 'Del' key to delete highlighted tracks. I am assuming you can do the same if you want all an artists album collection removed too- highlight the artist and press 'Del'?
I think what it is, I am just used to right-clicking with Wmp11, and I am not used to using the keyboard for such tasks.

It's possible that the rights-holder has removed the album, and her other albums, from your country's store. Is the album available on other music download purchase sites that you have access to ? Or is the CD available ?

Does it play in iTunes on the computer? What is the format of the album?

Itunes charged me for a whole album but didnt give me 3 of the songs

Hey so i preordered an album on itunes a couple days ago and it just came out today. itunes charged me the whole $9.99 for it, but left out 3 of the 10 songs. when i look at the album in the itunes store, those 3 songs have the price listed next to them. does anyone know how to fix this..? thanks

If you are having an issue with not getting some of the songs in an album you purchased from the iTunes Store you should report it using the steps in this article -

I got some songs refunded but they are still on my phone after syncing my phone to my computer and i wanted to buy the whole album but i cant because it says i will have duplicates of some of the songs

If you deleted the music why are you syncing back apps from other user on your computer?
Have you tried deleting the music directly from your phone and then update over the air?
