Trying to register my trial LIGHTROOM5

Trying to register my trial Lightroom5 as a stand alone package and not a monthly package with photoshop. When I go into register, it asks for the serial number which I do not have and I am unable to contact Adobe for help. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Jude

It sounds as though you downloaded the trial version of the creative cloud version. They are licensed differently, and you will have to uninstall that one before you can install the standalone version. The standalone version seems to be well hidden on the Adobe website. It appears as though the trend is going to the creative cloud. If you Google "purchase Lightroom 5" I think you'll find links to Amazon.com and B & H Photo where you can order it.

Where did you buy the machine? An Apple store, an authorized reseller, or ??
Also, what is the model/identifier? Is it the latest or was it purchased used?

Using a phone teathered HTC to access internet and trying to register our new ipad 2 but itunes store wont work.. i assume its to do with ports but we dont have the full internet, is there any work around? normal intenet download and other stuff works..

i may be wrong about the ports but can someone please shed some light on why the store wont connect? seems strange that everything else works except itunes store and we cant even use the ipad yet as its saying it needs to connect to store, has anyone else encountered this problem? please help.

A friend used my pc to check his Facebook account, and used my account. Now, my pc thinks I am he whenever I try to register with Facebook. I didn't catch the mistake until recently and have been trying to delete the info but cannot. I am very happy to report that my server connection tech, which I called via landline, informed me to : 1. Open Tools 2. Scan down to Clear Recent History 3. Delete All. That was it! Unbelievable! I don't think I can access the crash report? Excuse the ignorant questions I'm about to make am a relative tech novice.
Soo - as mentioned every time I open photoshop it crashes - it just says there's an error and the program will shut down and if there's a solution windows will notify me. Then nothing...
I've tried to look in photoshop files for the detailed crash report & the system event viewer but cannot find a file with those names. I've also looked in the windows files for files with those names but cannot find them either - so I don't know where to look.

When I check on the phone itself (iCloud and App Store settings) the Apple ID is correct. I'm not sure where else to check.
Whilst setting up the phone, it prompted me to register, which I did. Then when connecting to my laptop through iTunes it prompted me again so I registered again. I even got a confirmation email to the email address associated with my Apple ID that the registration was successful.
How can I add my iPhone 5s to the list of devices on the correct Apple ID?

I registered my Ipad onto "my profile" but when I tried to register my Iphone 4 onto "My Profile" it says that the product has been registered under ANOTHER apple ID. What does this mean?! Does this mean that the thief is using my phone under a new apple ID?!
I am getitng abit paranoid because when I tried to download a new app onto my macbook pro, it says that someone had accessed my account from a new computer. I am so scared.. as I know that if they are able to access my apple ID account they can see my billing/card details. I tried to delete my billing address and card details on my apple ID account to prevent this from occuring but I can't. Please help

You should change your AppleID password NOW. And if it says it was registered under another AppleID, the thief has probably done it.

VS 2005 Project is Broken after trying to register CR 2008 product

I purchased CR 2008 last October, and of course, each time I load a project that has a report in VS 2005, I'm prompted to register the product. Since I am dealing with another CR issue, I felt it was time that I register the product, and start a support case.
So, I opened up my VS 2005 project, and in the product registration wizard, I clicked Next. The radio button 'I want to register Now' was checked, and I clicked Next. This opens up IE and takes me to a registration page where I need to enter my Product Key Code. When I do this, and click Next, I ALWAYS get a page 'Product Registration - Step 2 of 3' that says Script timed out--indicating that the page timed out.
So I basically decided to CANCEL the registration of the product.
NOW, HOWEVER, my VS 2005 PROJECT HANGS when opened!!!
I have to End the Program to close the project. The next time I open the project, I get the following message:
"An error was encountered while opening associated documents the last time this solution was loaded. Document load is being skipped during this solution load in order to avoid that error".
So, trying to register CR 2008 has broken my VS 2005 project. It simply will not load all the documents in the project without hanging. Is there a way to reset VS 2005 to avoid this issue? I know that I reset the environment by running a program within VS 2005 a while back, but I can't remember how to do this.

I finally fixed the issue described above, but it took a while.
My projects load OK now, but only after doing the following:
1) Uninstall CR SP 2
2) Uninstall CR SP 1
3) Uninstall CR 2008
4) A couple of restarts along the way
5) Install CR 2008
6) Install CR SP 1
7) Install CR SP 2
8) At this point, there were still issues, so I repeated all the steps (i.e. removed all CR programs and then once again re-installed them all).
9) I also removed the CR SP 1 runtime which at some point, had been installed (way before step 1, above).
10) Oh, and I also removed the Version Manager, as well.
Now, my project loads OK, EXCEPT:
I now get a message when the project loads each and every CR report in my project:
Crystal Reports ActiveX Designer
This report was created with a version of Crystal Report which is later than the version you are running. Some features used in the report may not be supported.
OK.
This is a little alarming, but given the problems I've had the past two days with CR, I may just ignore it. I double-checked my included references in my Project. Interestingly, I get the following:

CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Framework .NET 12.0.1100.0
CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.InfoStore .NET 12.0.1100.0

However, I then removed all CrystalDecisions references from the project, and proceeded to add the new references by browsing for the new versions. I verified that the versions in ...Common\4.0\managed\dotnet2\ were in fact version 12.2.0.290 which is the correct version # for SP2. Sure enough, the file versions are correct.
But, when I then browse and add each one back into the project, the versions are once again shown AS ABOVE (i.e. 12.0.2000.0). Very strange!
For now, I'll just live with this issue, supposing that the VS 2005 project version list is incorrect?

It is not clear to me what my options are for either upgrading to Pro, or selectively purchasing the "compare documents" plugin (if possible). I am using what is presumably an Enterprise version of acrobat (i.e. my employer owns it, not me) - so not sure what limitations that results in. I think this is a simple question, but would be grateful for advice.

- You can't install Acrobat Pro alongside Acrobat Standard. You will need to remove Standard to be able to install Pro.
- You (probably) can't upgrade your license if it's a part of an enterprise license. The entire license will need to be upgraded.
- It's not possible to install just the "Compare Documents" function as a sort of add-on to Acrobat Standard.
