Trying to remove an application that is on my device but not in my applications list.

I am a new user of a BB Curve 8330 I just got in September from Verizon. I do have several apps but there is 1 specific one that is confusing me. I downloaded UberTwitter about 2 weeks ago. I can send and receive tweets without a problem, but I had read where it takes up a tremendous amount of memory and drains your battery quickly because it refreshes so frequently. Since I only check it once in a while I figured I'd delete it. Problem is, it is nowhere to be found in my Applications List. Everthing else is there - Facebook, BBC Mobile, Sky Sports, ESPN Soccernet, The Telegraph and Ebay along with all the other stuff that comes on the phone. No problems with any of them. Just Uber Twitter. How am I going to delete this if I can't find it?

It will drain your battery if you have it constantly running in the background. I turned that off (in the UT options). Turn off the BB notifications and uncheck move to background on close.
If it's not in your application list on your phone, maybe you can try deleting it thru your desktop manager (if you have it installed). Funny, it shows up in my app list.
Hope some of this helps. I really like UT - especially now since it doesn't eat up my battery!

There is no way to delete songs from an iPod.
Nothing will be touched on your iPod in regards to iTunes content with the first sync with iTunes on your new computer if you transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to your new computer following the simple instructions included with the link provided. Certainly as a Windows user you maintain a backup for all important data which should include your iTunes library? Important regardless the platform but even more so with Windows due to constant virus, adware, and spyware concerns. My ipod was working fine, I downloaded some new songs and the sync would not come up. Eventually it did but all the songs did not download. I was trying to do the song that were on my computer but not the ipod. no I have no content in my ipod.

You can't reset it. If you don't konw the password then you can't use that backup

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via control centre : swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and it's the right-most of the 5 icons in the middle of it (if the icon is white then it's 'on', tap it to turn it grey and 'off'). You need to use the right arrow on the remote to go all the way to the right. The submit button will be highlighted and you can then press select on the remote to proceed.

The specific circuit board I was talking about is the "Logic Board" which should have the serial number of your computer embeded electronnicaly. Sometimes the technicians who replace this board do not bother to enter the computer's serial number into it after making the repair/replacement. Probably because they don't think that it is important. The only way you can have this done is to bring it back to the shop where it was repaired, and have them do it. On some Macs you can check the electronic serial number by clicking on the Apple logo on the top left hand corner of the screen, then clicking on "about this mac" then clicking on "more info" button on the window which will appear. If you can't see any serial number, then your replacement board was not serialized.

Logic's preference files may have become corrupted:
1. Quit Logic Pro
2. In the Finder, press and hold down the "option" key then select "Library" from the "Go" menu
3. Open the "Preferences" folder
4. Drag the following files to the Trash:
    - com.apple.logic.pro.cs
    - com.apple.logic.pro.LSSharedFileList.plist
    - com.apple.logic.pro.LSSharedFileList.plist.lockfile
    - com.apple.logic.pro.plist
    - com.apple.logic.pro.plist.lockfile
These files will be re-created when Logic is next opened.

Are you certain you have enough memory left on your device to accommodate the app? Also, are you certain that an iOS 8-compatible version has been released by the developer? If the answer to both questions is "yes", then try downloading it via an iTunes sync.

It is not intended for the iPad. It would be somewhat cumbersome to have to use your iPad at a kiosk or a movie theater to print a boarding ticket.
The app was designed to be used on the iPhone and the iPod Touch.

I have uninstalled 3.0 version now....??? pls pls pls ....help

It turns out that the problem had to do with network accounts, even though it was not clear at first. Redirecting the program to the local machine's cache with a network home redirector script fixed the issue. Thanks anyway.
