Trying to Remove iTunes

Hello,
I am trying to uninstall iTunes, but I'm getting this message. The path C:\............\iTunes.msi cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again or find the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product iTunes.

Please, Help!!!! Anyone!!!! Any Suggestions???

Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

After clicking one of the circled links, you should be taken to another page, and after a few seconds you should see a download dialog appear for the msicuu2.exe file. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for me in Firefox:
Choose to Save the file. If the dialog box does not appear for you, click the link on the page that says "CLICK HERE IF IT DOES NOT". Here's a screenshot of the page with the relevant link circled:
When the dialog appears, choose to save the file.
(2) Go to the Downloads area for your Web browser. Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

TS1567 I have tried manually removing itunes and reinstalling. i have gone through the sevices anf tried turning on the AMDS. i have tried turning off the firewall. i have tried restoring my device. i have tried "fixing" the AMDS in the add/remove program

I have tried using a different device. i have tried using a different cable. I have tried all of the steps given in the link supplied by Apple. None of these things have fixed my problem. I still have the Error Message "The Apple Mobile Device Service started then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs or Alerts service. I am using Windows XP. I am leaning towards a last resort which would be to wipe my hard drive and start from scratch. Does anyone have a solution?

Let's start with iTunes.
Have you updated iTunes to 11.1.5, because the previous version did appear to have an issue about seeing iPods?
With iTunes 11.1.5 installed, look in Edit/Preferences/Devices, (or use the ALT key, followed by the E key and then the F key) and make sure that the box named Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically does not have a tick in the box.
Once you have doen those two things, check to see if the iPod is seen by iTunes.

OS stands for Operating System. (In computer speak, IO means Input/Output.)
iOS originally stood for iPhone Operating System, but it now refers to the iPod Touch and iPhone. The iPod Classic, which you have listed in your profile as your iPod, does not use iOS.
I assume that you have been listening to the Podcast in your iTunes on the computer as you cannot transfer it to your iPod. It's what I'd do.

I am trying to remove iTunes and re install it but I can't find iTunes 64.msi

I recently have been trying to update my iTunes and my computer said it could not find the "iTunes64.msi" file and I could not locate it myself. I have tried to download numerous "clean up" programs but every one I try leads to a download that I cannot complete and get to because of surveys, other program downloads etc... Trying to Remove iTunes software components because of 11.1.4 update error and using Windows 7 uninstall Apple Mobile Device Support does not work. Any suggestions?

Had error while updating Itunes to ver 11.1.4. I had 11.1.3.8 previously. Following instructions for Removing and Reinstalluing iTunes and other software components. Was able to uninstall iTunes and Apple Software Update, but attempts to do the same under Control Panel failed for Apple Mobile Device Support (ver 7.0.0.117). Directioons say to uninstall components in order given so I cannot continue until Apple Mobile Device Support is removed. Any suggestions?

Try reparing and then remove again if the repair is successful, otherwise move on to the next step. See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for more information.

that the database sessions are hardly ever removed. How I can remove them by force.

How do I remove itunes match

I tried to remove Itunes match from my macbook and iphone through my account settings on the iphone store but it still says Itunes match is on when I view music settings on the ipod. How do totally remove this from both devices?

You can delete individual songs by swiping them and tapping the "delete" button. You can remove Albums or Artists by tap-n-hold, then tapping the "x."

Trying to remove thud and newspaper crinkling

Hi. I'm editing a video of a musical. During one of the songs, a table fell (loud thud) and someone off stage gathers up a pile of newspapers (paper crinkling).
Noise reduction filter is no help because there is no break in the song. All noise happens simultaneously with singing.
Any ideas on reducing the noises? I am an inexperienced at this kind of thing.

A msi file is short for microsoft installer. It normally is for installation, removal, and maintenance for a program. So iTunes.msi would be used for the updating of the program. For some reason it isnt finding this so we can't update, install, or remove it.
From what I have seen windows installer cleanup utility solved related problems before.
I found this forum about removing and installing a new iTunes. It was about someone who was trying to isntall iTunes, and was looking for msi file and asked for help. Using this should allow you to be able to install iTunes. It won't give you the msi file but will allow you to isntall iTunes over again.
This was what was said.
Another option in case you can't get an msi. (Or even if you can ... the msi's mentioned in the messages may be damaged rather than missing.)
