Trying to resolve license issue

So I am pretty stumped on how to proceed here and hopefully someone can be of some guidance. I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 for Windows back in early 2012. I've had this installed on two of my computers for the past couple of years and had no problems at all. Everything was wonderful. This was purchased from SoftwareKing.com who I have previously purchased legitimate licenses for software and at a slightly discounted rate. I have never had any problems with them and have confirmed that other licenses I have are legit from them.
I tried to purchase the Creative Cloud upgrade for $29.95 but it fails the upgrade saying I do not have a valid license. I contacted support and they found that my license is an educational license. I had another rep verify this and they confirmed it. Software King claims they definitely did not sell me an educational license. Per Adobe I should just buy an upgrade to resolve this. That doesn't make much sense. And they have not provided any support as who I can contact at Adobe to investigate the matter (whether anything helps me or not I figure they should investigate fraudulent purchases).
SoftwareKing is hands off the issue at this time because it was purchased over 2 years ago. Any suggestions on what to do? I suppose at this point I can just go for the $49.95 bundle but it bothers me I spent that much money on software and have been illegally using it, without my knowledge.

Actually I believe you misunderstand. I have purchased this software for $2,000 and it turns out now that it was an educational license. I don't intend anyone to help me recoup the money or anything - I simply was hoping someone would help and let me know who to contact at Adobe to report the vendor for selling licenses in this fashion. I figured some people would care that a vendor is illegally selling software but so far nobody from Adobe support I spoke to cared.

    If you don't have a rescue email address (or you do but aren't the receiving the email to it) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

  • ICal refuses to finish 'restore' ; trying to resolve sync issues.

    trying to fix sync issues.
    using missing sync.
    everything worked perfectly for a ling long time before i thought it'd be cute to go in and put birthdays into addressbook, and select the option in iCal preferences to add those events to my calendar.
    EVERYTHING has gone to **** since then.
    the missing sync guys recommend i backup and restore addressbook and iCal.
    addressbook did fine.
    when i select the saved ICal database file (icbu) from my desktop, it will not complete.
    what gives?
    i'm trying to do this to fix another problem.
    its like every step is making a new issue.
    i am getting close to the edge guys...

    (overall problem is that i cannot even get missing sync to overwrite my blackberry 8830 now.
    for months, iCal, Addressbook, and Tasks synced perfectly.
    all was well until i screwed with this stupid Birthday feature.)

  • Premiere Elements 9 - how to resolve license issue after uninstall - reinstall?

    I am trying to help out my dad who had Premiere Elements 9 installed on his PC. Due to malfunction of the PC a total reinstallwas performed.
    PE9 was uninstalled but now he tries to reinstall and the license does not work anymore because it is considered already in use.
    From the troubleshooting pages here I understand he would have had to deactivate his license but obviously he did not. How can he get his license reacivated again?

    This is entirely a carrier issue.  If your carrier (airtel) doesn't provide service outside of Mumbia, this has nothing to do with your iPhone.

  • Trying to resolve broadband issue.

    Hey all. Hoping you guys could help me.
    Background:
    -moved into new flat last Friday and had arranged for my bt service to be moved across from my old flat. Same number, same package. (fyi the new flat is in the same development as the old flat)
    - Broadband was cut off from old flat on the day and I received a text telling me the switch was successful and that the service can be used.
    - plugged in bt hub and I got a red light on the broadband symbol (power and wifi were blue). Was like this until sunday.
    - on Sunday received a text from bt telling me service was again ready to use. Reset the hub and then the broadband symbol was switching between off and orange flashing.
    - left it till yesterday (Monday) and with no luck decided to call bt. They took me through all the steps etc and I made sure everything was done correctly. Still no joy
    - bought a phone and plugged it in. No dial tone. Although when I ring the land line from my mobile, the number rings, but the house phone doesnt!
    - have no idea what to do next.
    - have opened up all sockets and non of them are master. All have the same wiring
    - have three filters and found one that works, so that's no problem.
    - the previous tenants said the line was working last week
    - my bt online account says everything is working
    - there are no service problems in my area
    Any ideas what could be going on? It's driving me crazy!!
    Don't know what to do next. Don't mind waiting for resolution but just can't understand how difficult it can be to switch a line.

    There is no way to knw what Apple is trying or what they are doing, unless they announce -which is very rare.
    Most have no issue.  They released 5.1 to help resolve ths issue.  Try doing a forum search to see if you can get some help extending your iphones battery life.

    i have tried in so many ways-
    -reimporting the parent table alone.
    -fresh export of all tables with option consistent=y
    but the records are matching between source and target tables.

  • HT5035 I had a balance of $5.30 on my account. It disappeared when I added a $25 gift card. I have tried to get this issue resolved thru email. I need a call back. Where do I look to get a call back number for this issue

    I have already contacted apple thru email, twice. I don't see that they have an option for a call back for a missing iTunes balance, I did however see where I could get a call back(and did) for not being able to sign in on another device to make a purchase. This problem was resolved quickly for this device. I told this rep about the unresolved problem of the missing iTunes balance and he said he could transfer me but the wait times are very long. In my 2 email correspondences on this missing balance issue both times I was told to check my balance history- which does not resolve the issue that I am having to go thru a huge hassle to get my missing balance back prior to my card purchase. I had a balance of $5.86 show on my ipad2 and on my Mac book pro prior to applying the $25 gift card. Then the balance showed only $25 after apply my gift card, now here's what's weird: aprox. A week and a half later I sign in on my iPod touch and shows a balance of $5.30!, but when it has me resign into iTunes that balance disappeared, and the $25 gift card balance shows up. I made NO PURCHASES to use the $5.86/ or $5.30- so I want my money to equal $30.30/ or $30.86 as it should, and I want to not go thru so much to take care of it. To just hope Apple would have a call back option for this type of issue. I won't be buying iTunes gift cards or purchasing thru iTunes if my balance disappears when I do so.

    When you tried to contact Support with the card's images how were you trying to do it, on your phone or a browser on your computer ? And have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same error message ?
    As well as images of the card they might also want an image of its receipt.

    Try closing all open applications in multitasking and power cycling the device.  Once this is done test the results.  If the issue persists, I have included a couple troubleshooting articles that I would recommend going through.

    Yes, I just get that message. I don't see how I could investigate this problem.
    I didn't mention that this happened when I was consolidating my library, not copying files to another computer.
    In other words, I'm using a "normal" itunes procedure, itunes won't complete it, and won't tell me exactly why or how to figure out how to fix it...
    Is there at least some easy way to tell which files were successfully copied to my itunes music folder so I can work on moving the uncopied files?
    Can anybody help me?

    I am patiently waiting for some word on whether I can go ahead a install the new version of Muse CC (2014) software on my systems without running into the quagmire that so many are experiencing.  I simply can't afford to run the risk that I will be stuck with a "trial version" for the next 30 days without some assurance from Adobe that they will be able to solve the problems in that time frame. It would be nice if adobe would send out an email that explains the situation to all of it's users so we know what's going on and when the issue is resolved. Collectively we all pay a lot money for these "updates", so I don't think it's to much to ask.

    Why not? Are there error messages? Where are the files located? Why are you deleting MicroSoft Word files?

  • Trying to resolve Recursive BOM Component issue in Tcode CO46

    I am trying to identify the problem component when running CO46 and getting a "Recursive BOM Component" message.
    I thought I would try to catch the bad component in the debugger, but I can't seem to find where to put the Breakpoint or identify a field to put a Watchpoint on.
    Has anyone else had this issue and were you able to ID the BOM Component that was causing the issue?
