Trying to search emails

The hugely glaring omission of any search facility on the iPhone, especially in Mail left me wishing I had read the reviews more thoroughly before buying.
However, MobileMe via safari gives me Mail with a search facility, albeit via a web browser... At least on my desktop. When trying to connect to me.com from my iphone I just get a "welcome to mobileme, now please go and use your native iphone apps" type message. NOT very useful.
Has anyone got any info on when/if I will ever be able to access web mobileme, or if apple will add a search facility to the mail app?

Let Apple know of this glaring omission. This is what makes the Blackberry so useful for the business users who has to pull up information.

Currently we having Exchange Server 2013 and Outlook 2013 . when we use the options "Use Cached Exchange Mode " in account setting, we trying to search email under Shared mailbox with Current Folder Options Selected and it will not display recent
email but old email . but when we untick Use Cached Exchange Mode in account Setting, we can search email with no issue. FYI, Our indexing is done. we have already tried to rebuild the index but the issue will happend after few weeks.

Since the issue only happens in Cached mode, please make sure the following settings are correct in your Outlook 2013:
1. Open Outlook, click File > Account Settings
> Account Settings.
2. Click Change and make sure Use Cached Exchange Mode is checked.
3. Click More Settings > Advanced tab. Make sure use Cached Exchange Mode and Download shared folders are both checked.
If the configuration is correct but the issue persists in Cached mode, please create a new Outlook profile to have a try:

Why do I get an error when trying to send email?

When I try to email a photo directly from iPhoto, I get an error message that tells me that server is unable to identify email name and password. WHY?
I verified and email address and password are correct>
Also, I have listed to email addresses on my MAC a Gmail address and a Comcast (other) account, but when I click on stamp for email on my desktop it opens both mailboxes in one place. Is there a way to separate them.
Any answer and help provided will be greatly appreciarted.

Have you ever tried to access email via your iPhone in the past with this service? Has it ever worked? I'm looking at their support page and cannot find any information regarding access via a mobile device. I'm wondering since it is a satellite service that you cannot access their domain from cellular service. I'm not positive, but a search of their support page is not yielding much information.
Also, the incoming server is not your problem. It is the outgoing server or SMTP. According to the settings, it should be smtp.everyone.net. It does not use SSL for the outgoing server, and the username is your entire email address and then your password.
You should be able to use the information for the Mac mail that I found in this link. http://www.skybeam.com/support/helpful-guides/email-support/mac-mail/ If that doesn't work, I would call their support phone number and ask about using their mail on a mobile device.

Search email body for IP Address

I get log files delivered to my Outlook and am having great difficulty searching for IP Addresses.
the search box separates the octets because of the period used. (ie xxx.yyy.zzz.aaa) results are returned for every xxx or yyy or zzz or aaa.
how do i tell outlook to search "xxx.yyy.zzz.aaa' only - (quotes don't work either)
i tried using 'search folders' but get the same result

I should take my words back. To include the '.' in the search word, you could use the Advanced Find, in the Advanced tab, create a new Field, select Message, in the Value box, type in the IP address you need to find, there you go.

Mail cannot search email by full text

Starting sometime in 10.7.2, my Mail can no longer search my emails with keywords. The only working one is search by contact.
Spotlight can still search email by full-text, but it is barely usable for my purpose.
Upgrading to 10.7.4 did not fix this problem.
I have tried:
1) vacuum mail envelops
2) rebuilding mail boxes a few times
3) repair disk permissions
4) reset spotlight index
none of them helped.
Very frustrated and do not know how to fix this. I currently rely on Sparrow for my emails...
Any other suggestions? Thanks!

After creating a new user account, importing all the mails form the IMAP server to that account, and finding that full text search was broken in that new and virgin user account, too, I contacted Apple support. They walked me through repairing disk permissions and the spotlight index.
When this did not help, they told me to RE-INSTALL 10.8.2 WITHOUT DELETING my home folder / private files. Finally, this solved the issue for me! There must have been something wrong deep within the system.

How to Search Email in Multiple Folders at Once?

I know how to search email in one folder, but how to search email in multiple folders at once? The only way I can think of is to go to each folder and issue a search on each folder. But if there are 10 folders, I will have to run search function 10 times. I tried to just use the folder I got from getDefaultFolder ( ) to do the search and think that it maybe the root of all folders, but it doesn't work. I have to getFolder (each_folder) and search 10 times. Does anyone know how?

Either it ended up in a spam filter or it isn't being sent to that address. If you can't find it, use the link in the 'Additional Information' section of that article to contact the iTunes Store staff.

Have them install Quicktime on their PC's from Apple's website, that's the easiest fix.

I currently have an iPhone and iPad, and am soon changing over to a Mac. When that happen I'd like to try to see what I can migrate over from the Google ecosystem to the iCloud ecosystem.
1) Currently I have the Gmail iOS app (a webapp container) that can search server-side of several years of email archive. Can iCloud do this using the iOS native mail application? Or is the search just limited to what the device has downloaded locally?
2) Do I have to use a @me.com address for the full iCloud email sync to take place between server, Mac, and iOS devices?
Believe it or not I've read quite a bit about the iCloud services, but the answers to these questions were far from clear. Many thanks for the help.

2) iCloud only syncs email between .me/.mac addresses. For other accounts like google, you set up the account in the mail app and if they're IMAP accounts, you can sync between the google server and any devices you have defined that account on.
I'm not absolutely sure about 1) since I haven't had to search going back years - I use MailSteward for that on the mac. On my iPhone/iPad, when I go into a mailbox and the emails are not immediately available, it downloads them. I suspect for a search, you need the emails downloaded.

Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.

There are a number of tabs at top of my inbox such as sign out, search email, help, etc. They do not work. For example cannot insert a name for search email- will not give me the curser to do this. When I use internet explorer these tabs do work so not a problem with Yahoo mail- must be problem with Firefox. Recently updated Firefox.

Trying to print emails w/PDF attachments via bluetooth from 8300 to HP OfficeJet8470.
My boss shopped for and picked this phone based on the store staff. He wants to be able to have our service tech be able to receive work orders via email, in the form of a pdf attachment, and be able to print using the bluetooth enabled HP Office Jet 8470, hardware that was sold to him in another store with the statements that it would work with his application.
Everything I have seen on this site, and the lack of information elsewhere, leads me to question if we have the correct applications/hardware at all...
If so, I need to be able to explain clearly to my boss any options that we have, and why or why not it won't work.
