can anyone please help with the email setup on the iphone? Trying to use gmail as it comes up in the setup account option. Keeps saying the password or username are incorrect.
Are you using gmail 2 step verification? If so you have to use an application-specific password.

How can I hide the password and user name in url???
Hi experts,
I'm creating a login page and know I have a problem.
The Username and password are verified in a Java class, after checking the user and password, the user should be linked to the portal.
So far everything has worked well.
But when I call the lin like this

then the user name and Pwasswort appears in the url.
Can someone tell me how can I hide the password and user name???

I can't access my account and the password reset is not working. What can I do?
When I try to sign in to HP ePrintCenter, I input my email address and username and get the following prompt:
"EmailInvalid email or password"
I figured perhaps I wasn't registered so I tried to register with my email address however the system promped me that my email address is already registered and that I must sign in. Obviously I've forgotten my password so when I click on "Forgot Password" and input my email address, the system keeps prompting me to:
"Input the email address associated with your account."
I just did, and I'm stuck in this endless loop. Please advise.Why would you expect the HP Website to work?

I keep trying to setup my gmail account. I input my username and password correctly, but then when it trys to verify it says CANNOT CONNECT USING SSL...DO YOU WANT TO TRY SETTING UP THE ACCOUNT WITHOUT SSL. I say yes and then it says it CANNOT GET MAIL. What do I do?!!!
do you have POP enabled in your gmail account?
login to gmail, go to settings in the upper right hand corner
click on "forwarding and pop"
enable for all mail that arrives from now on.
save changes.

I wonder of anyone can help me, I am trying to setup an email account on my IPhone 4 but the accoutn won't verify. I get to the point where is says continue, cancel and details. Under the details section it gives me the error message that the server is not trusted. I am not sure what this means but I have been looking online and I think it is something to do with the primary certificate or something along those lines although I don't completely understand what that means, I hope someone can help as this is driving me crazy.

EmmaThat message usually means that the server's Certificate has expired. You can just tap Continue and it should connect. It's a warning that you may not be connecting to the server you think you are. But if you are sure it is the right one just click Continue.

In trying to add a gmail account, I keep getting the "ussername or password is wrong."
The only email address setup in Thunderbird is a Roadrunner email. I'm having trouble receiving business emails forwarded to that email, so I'm trying to add my gmail account to Thunderbird... I followed the basic direction to add a Mail Account and I I made sure that everything entered was absolutely correct as far am my gmail and my password for it. No matter what I do, I get the same answer: "Configuration could not be verified - is the username or password wrong?"
You have to configure Gmail to allow access to less secure apps. Thunderbird uses the IMAP-protocol, but Google thinks it isn't safe enough.
Go to your browser and login to Gmail. Now click on your profile picture and click Account. Go to the Security tab and click on Settings for Access for less secure apps under Account Permissions. Enable it and Thunderbird should have access to your email...
BTW This is totally safe. There's no need to scratch behind your ear about changing this setting -

Then select "Add a Mail Account and click create

I setup 2 Mac Minis, 'setup in a no-apple id. Now with Mini1 I installed a shared printer from Windows7 Pc it ask for credentials then I input Adminstrator account and the password ticking the remember in "keychain"
I run a test print and its seamless. I reboot the Mini1 and run test print again and its good.
Now in Mini2 I did the same installation on shared printer but it is asking for user credential again and again, there is a check mark in "remember in keychain but still gives a notice that "requires authentication" I put the admin creadentials same with Mini1 then it prints.
every time I print on Mini2 its always asking for a user & password before Printing. How can we fix it.
I tried
- lpd printing = "authentication required"
- reset printer settings ang re-install printer = "authentication required"
- replace sharename in windows7, reinstall printer in Mini2 = "authentication required"
