Trying to setup id without credit card not working
can someone help me before i chuck this ipod in the bin.
trying to setup my id so i can get free apps and such but it keeps requesting a credit card.
im not sure about all you credit living americans but i dont own a credit card and dont intend on getting one.
what can i do to download apps that are free.
nice ploy but apple to get every owners credit card numbers just to use an ipod.
i have tried to follow the no credit card instructions with no avail..... there is no such NONE section.
The instructions work if you follow them precisely. If you already have an account, choose Store > Sign Out. You must be in the iTunes App Store, not the music store. You must first try to "buy" a free app, and proceed from there.

Hi,
some days ago my credit card got hacked so the bank blocked it. It happened the same day of the month Adobe was billing Creative Cloud. Apps worked until today, so I hoped the charge was done before, but suddendly all the CC apps stopped working and Application Manager is asking for subscription renewal. I immediatly updated the payment method with a working credit card number but still is asking me to renew the subscription each time I try to run an app.
I really need help as soon as possible, I have to deliver a work but all the apps are blocked.
ThanksProblem solved, now it is working. Probably it takes some time before the new credit card is processed.

Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer. As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you. I'm sure you'll pay, however.
Let this be a very important lesson learned.

Then i saw a vid on youtube and it shows there that there is a "none" selection at the end of the part where you select which type you of payment you want. Any help? If the specific steps have not been processed, a credit or debit card will be required to complete the setup the account.
However, it can be removed and payment method changed to none as long as there is not an outstanding balance.

I have a late 2008 Macbook Pro, I am trying to run MW3 but it will not work without crashing a few minuets into the game. The general specs on my computer are a dual processor 2.53 ghz. 4 gb ram and a NVIDIA geforce 9400 (9600 is the alternate card).
Things to note:
I have been unable to update firmware on this computer for about a year now. Im not sure why.
I am running a bootleg copy of Windows XP on this computer, I would not like to spend $149 to get Windows 7 if possible.
any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated, thank you.Why don't you take your 'old' MBP into your local Apple Store and have them check out everything that's wrong with it - and I mean everything? Then, when you get an estimate about how much it would cost to get the machine completely repaired, ask about the Apple flat-rate repair pricing?
It's worth a shot - and with what you may save, you can put in the bank for a new MBP.

I read your first post when I was posing a separate question on the Mac Pro board. I now see that we may be talking about printing from an iPad with Airprint instead!!!!! I very much suspect the print command and settings are different for Airprint but I have never used it to be able to offer concrete advice. I think the setting choices could be different even with Airprint on the laptop and further that you may not even be using Safari but some special app???
I've not heard or seen the term "frame" in the context of printing before except perhaps in the context of a screen shot. Is the credit card statement a "pop-up" of some kind rather than a webpage or pdf? -

You would have to purchase a 3rd party program ( not supported by Apple).
The ipod is not a storage/backup device.
Copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of your old computer. -
As I try to download apps (e.g. Skype) for my new iPhone 5s, using my existing apple ID, it gives a message that my id is not valid for US store and I need to switch to Bangladesh store. If you're in Bangladesh, then there is no iTunes Store that you can use. Each country's iTunes Store is limited to those actually in that country. E.G from the terms of use for the iTunes Store:
The iTunes Service is available to you only in the United States, its territories, and possessions. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Service from outside these locations. Apple may use technologies to verify your compliance.
When or indeed if Apple will ever be able to open an iTunes Store in Bangladesh no one here will know.
If you are physically in the US using a US-based account, post back and we'll go from there.

Did you create a NEW account using the instructions in Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card using an email address you had not previously used with Apple?
You have to.
