Trying to sync music to my iPhone, but the Sync button des not appear in iTunes
I am trying to upload music to my iPhone 4 from iTunes.
I can see my iPhone under the Devices section and can browser through the various tabs "Summary", "Info", etc.
In the Music tab, i check the box to "Sync Music" and opt for "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres".
I make my selection and can see the Capacity updating with the selections made.
But then the only option i have is to click "Revert". I can see the "Apply" button, but it is greyed out - and cannot be selected.
No "Sync" button appears.
Can anyone help?
Did you already try to remove and reinstall iTunes?

Did you try a different USB port or cable?
Also check if you have the latest updates for your Mac:

I just bought an Apple TV and I'm trying to connect airplay but the icon does not appear! My iPhone and Apple TV are on the same wifi connection but the airplay button does not apper? The same thing with my iPad mini
Try restarting all devices including portable iOS ones and your router.
Check Airplay is not disabled in AppleTVs settings.

Sync Services (which iTunes uses for the Info button) was removed in Mavericks.

I purchased the Killers new album and for some reason now my computer says it can't find the files. So I tried to download the album again off my iTunes acount but the cloud button won't appear. Does anyone know why this is happening?
These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here.
Audiobooks (and ringtones) are currently a one-time only download. I believe that they are all supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them who are requiring the one-time only download restriction. To get it onto your other devices you will need to sync it via a computer. Depending upon what country that you are in, Audible.com have their own app (Audiobooks from Audible) so you might be able to buy direct from them, though I don't know whether you can buy within their app or download audiobooks directly from them within the app e.g. whether they need to be copied via a computer. -
I don't have a phone plan, so I cannot text without wifi. I have been using iMessage to text my friends, until it stopped working. I can text my sisters email, but not my boyfriends iPhone. The send button will not turn blue. Help? Please?
There is a problem with iMessage with what Apple says is a small number of iPhones and they are working on a fix. In the meantime try this:
1. Settings > Messages > iMessage = Off
2. Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime = Off
3. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
4. Wait for the iPhone to Reboot
5. Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime = On
6. Settings > Messages > iMessage = On
You may have to repeat the steps a couple of times.

I am trying to update a chart in Pages that I created in Numbers, but the refresh button does not show up after I save the Numbers file. Thoughts?
It is hard to exactly understand what you have done or not by you one sentence description. My thought is have you read in the Pages User Guide? Here is what it says about updating a chart in Pages:
Updating a Chart Copied from a Numbers Document
If you’ve created a chart in Numbers, you can copy it and paste it into your Pages document. After it’s been pasted into Pages, the chart remains linked to the data tables it references in Numbers. To change the chart data, open the original Numbers document and edit the data there, save the Numbers document, and then refresh the chart data in Pages.To update a chart after you’ve updated its linked Numbers table:
Select the chart on the page and click the Refresh button that appears.
Note: You must save the Numbers document before copying and pasting your chart into your Pages document and after editing the Numbers data tables that the chart references.

I'm sending an iMessage from my iPhone to another iPhone but the recipient phone does not receive message because not on wifi. Why does recipient iPhone not automatically receive in text messaging?
Wi-Fi is not required for iMessage. Internet access is required for iMessage which includes when the iPhone is connected to the cellular network.
If an iMessage cannot be sent, it will fail to send and you will be prompted to send as an SMS if text only. -

You have to use your credit card and make a few purchases before you can get the "None" option.

I have turned Home Sharing on for two computers, but the "Shared" area is not appearing on either computer. What does this mean? What do I do? I am trying to get music from one library into another library to sync with my ipod so that I can have all songs on the ipod from both libraries.

If the menu bar is not showing, dorp down the menu in the very upper left corner and select show menu bar, then follow steps above.

I am connected to my hotel wifi network, but the login screen does not appear. I am able to access the login page on my PC, but on the iPhone it does not appear and just tries to connect to the webpage (e.g. google.co.uk), and eventually gives up. I've tried opening pages in Safari and Chrome, but none cause the login screen to appear. I have also tried trying to log into the login page that the PC opens when connected to the wifi, but the same thing happens. I am using a iPhone 3G with the latest iOS version 6.0.1.
Is there a way to make the iPhone try to open the login page?
Ben.I have the exact same problem as the original poster and I tried many times already the solution proposed by trstark66 and it's still not working. It's not working for both my iPad and iPhone 5. I'm using the latest iOS version available all the time. I have my iPad since 3 years and my iPhone since 1 years and I always had that problem. I'm an airline pilot so I'm always in hotels. I asked my colleagues who also have iPhones and iPads and they all have the same problems from time to time. And when I go in an apple store they all say that it's the first time they hear about that problem. I never have that problem with my PCs, my previous phone and my BB playbook. Only with my iPhone and iPad....since now 3 years...Always the same problem. I'm connected to the Hotel Network, I have an IP address but nothing popup to register with a user name, password or just to access the "I have read and accept the condition.../connect". And when I go in Safari or other Browsers, I am not redirected to a login page. All I have is a message saying cannot access the webpage because I'm not connected to Internet. I tried already hard resets, on/off Wi-Fi, automatic connexion off, forget this network, reset network setting...
My solution for now is to use my Boingo account. I connect to the hotel Network and then I use the Boingo app to connect to Internet.
But, sometimes it works the first time or suddenly for no reason.
Very funny, I was using Boingo on my ipad to write this message in my Hotel room because I was unable to use my free connection as usual. When I tried to press "Add Reply" it failed and I had the message "An error occured while trying to submit your post, please try again". The reason was that boingo was disconnected since I was taking too long to write this message. So I wasn't connected to Internet anymore. I opened a second tab in Safari and what did I see!... the login page to access the free connection from the hotel. This is crazy. Apple, you really suck with hotel/coffee hotspots... I tried for hours and nothing, now hours later I just open a new tab and it works. But tomorrow I know I will try the same and it will not work again. It shouldn't be that complicated. -
I have CC and while attempting Light Effects, the Light Effects Layer will appear in the layers panel, but the option bar will not appear and neither will the Properties panel. All my preferences are set correct, and my computer has a compatible video card and RAM. Please help!
I tried to delete the layer attempt again. I am in a Photoshop class, but the work is all online, so all my teacher is going to do is send me to this site. I am trying to edit a photo for this class, and without this working, i go to filter>render>light effects. the bar and panel will pop up for about 2 seconds, then disappear. How do i get the options bar and properties panel to display?I was about to suggest resetting LE from the Workspace drop-down top right corner, but if you can't see the Options Bar, I guess that is not going to happen. The normal Tool reset is grey out for LE, so it might be a case of resetting Preferences.
