When you saw this dialog box, did you choose "Erase and Sync"?
If you did, your iPhone was erased, then your iTunes Library was transferred to it. If your iTunes Library was empty, your iPhone will be also.
Your previously purchased music, apps, books, and videos are still yours. You just have to download them again.

Facetime worked on my I phone but not my MBP. im not sure what it means by saying check network connection.
Its just cause they at getting smashed and there servers are not running as smooth having same probs with I message just give it a day

I just switch from a Windows 8 machine to a MacPro and when I try and sync my iPhone 5s for the first time it says that sync will erase everything on my phone because it is still synced to my old computer. Any suggestions?

In syncing my Iphone 5 for the first time, Facetime disappeared. Although it shows up under apps in the settings menu, the application itself does not seem to be there. What happened? How can I fix this?
There has never been a facetime app on the iphone.
As the manual says, you access from contacts. Pick a contact and scroll down to the facetime button -
So I plugged in my iPhone 5 to my computer for the first time and I accedentally pressed restore. My wife has a iPhone 4s and has plugged in her phone to the computer many times to sync. So when i restored i got all her photos and lost mine which were very very importent. So how do I get my photos back?
Unless your photos were backed up somewhere, they're gone. They were wiped off your phone when you restored it from your wife's data.

Installed Firefox 3.6.8 for the first time and it keeps crashing
I just installed Firefox for the first time and when it is finished installing I tell it to start. It tries and as soon as it does I get a crash report. Every time I click Restrt Firefox it comes up with the same crash error, which is the following:

I am running this on a Duo Core processor, Intel, Laptop, Windows 7 with 4-gigs of ram. I have never had a problem with other programs crashing like this before.
Any ideas? I have never used Firefox and after 20 years have decided to try something new.
Thanks for any help.You mean out of this whole community no one knows how to fix this ... I wanted to give Firefox a try, but honestly, I am starting to see why I have not switched from IE, it is stable and I get answers when I post to the Microsoft boards as well as the answer to everything I have ever had an issue with is out there ... what is worse is that I am not the only one with this problem and no one can still help because I am sure us five are not the only ones that have run into this.

Check your junk mail folder.
Go back to id.apple.com, and choose manage, enter your appleID and password. It will take you to a page where your account info is displayed, and there should be a link to resend the verification email. -

I had not been using this phone since October as I updated to the 5c and have had my kids using this for games.. About a month ago I thought it would be useful to update the IOS after I had updates the 5c but this crashed and it has not worked since..
I have reinstalled Itunes - I have just updated again now that IOS7.1 has come thought and I though I may be there as each step of the restore seemed to be working and the line under the apple logo was progressing. However it has now has now been stuck for 4 hours on restoring Iphone firmware?After 4 hours of frozen screen is came up with an error message - Error (3)...Any solutions??

I have updated my iPhone 4 for the first time in about a year. I had synced it so my photos should be safe but it's now telling me I have to restore. I'm worried I will lose my messages and whatsapp videos as I have a pc so these aren't saved elsewhere
Restore from backup and everything will be exactly as it was when the backup was created.
Restore as new and the device will be as if it just came out of the box.

Wireless Homegroup connections ok, cannot connect in Public
Wireless access works perfectly in various Home networks, but when trying to connect in a Public place, all I get is a white empty window even though I show "connected" with plenty of bars. Problem exists for ANY public places I have tried.
