Trying to sync my iPod nano (6Gb) for the first time to my laptop (Windows 7). When I toggle the "iPod sync" button I do not get the "apply" button to start the sync. Why?
I have a 27" iMac with the latest version of iTunes. I tried restoring my iPod and even removing and re-installing iTunes. What eventually worked for me was plugging into my PC and restoring/reformatting it to work with my PC. I don't know why it wouldn't work with my iMac, but now it seems to be working.

I bought my daughter an I pod touch 3 gen. I tried to do a master reset so I could sync it with my Itunes account. After resetting, all that is showing is an apple that looks like a skull with a flame on top. Does anyone know what I am supposed to do so I can sync it?
Master reset...? Your device was jailbroken prior to you purchasing the device. The only symbol you should see on reboot is an Apple symbol. Download redsnow... google it! Download the latest version and your IPSW (ipod restore firmware) it has to be the correct version. And the "just boot tethered" should fix your device.
But that's only if you didnt back the device up. If you don't care about any of the data on the ipod then you can simply open itunes navigate to the device and click the restore button. This will restore the ipod firmware and install a fresh copy. Good luck let me know if you have any problems. -
I am trying to download itunes to my computer, when i hithe download button all it does is go to the "now that you have downloaded itunes" screen.....NOTHING HAS BEEN DOWNLOADED!!!!!!!!!......i have been trying for 2 days to do this, please help.....Thanks

I listen to my iPod Classic at work and it kept cutting off today out of nowhere and this hasn't happened before. I have it in my pocket so I have the HOLD button in the lock position so the wheel won't get pressed while in my pocket. I figured it died on me but I had just charged it last night so I took it out and unlocked the HOLD button. Well, the music immediately came back on. It happened a few more times and i figured maybe it was the song or something so I changed albums and it kept happening. Every time it would cut off, I'd unlock the HOLD button and it'd come back on every time, almost like it was paused or something. Has anyone experienced this? if so, how do I fix it? I really don't want to buy a new iPod since I have little money because of school, bills, and photography/film equipment. Help? thanks.
I'm having a hard time finding an answer to this too. This is what is going on. Sometimes the iPod (iPod Classic 160GB) does not "like" the songs I've downloaded from cds. Sometimes it does. I think it always plays whatever songs I've purchased on iTunes though. The other day I synced it to add two new cds and somehow the iPod was wiped clean--no songs, no pictures, nothing. I did a reset and the songs came back but now these problems:
1. The song will play for a few seconds then it either skips to the next song.
2. The song won't play, just skips to the next song.
3. Everything just stops, the iPod is still 'on' but won't play anything.
4. Right now it's playing an Aimee Mann album that I downloaded but it wouldn't play the Joni Mitchell album just before. Is the iPod making a comment on my taste in music?
Flipping the lock back and forth helps sometimes, but not always.
I bought this device less than two years ago; I really hope it's not permanently messed up. Should I just go to the Apple Store (please I beg of you, don't make me!) and throw myself at their mercy?

when I try to change my homepage, there is no "apply" button to hit, so the browser reverts to the old homepage when I reopen my browser. I made sure my browser is updated, but that did not help. I was able to change my homepage a long time ago, successfully, and it stayed there. I did not notice when this changed or what may have caused the change to come about. I am running Windows 8 with all the latest updates.
I tried under Options>General>Startup several times. I typed in the new homepage and I also tried Use Current Pages, still same results. the new homepage stays until I restart the browser, then it goes back to the previous one

When I toggle the info button in video mode the electronic level on my Canon 60D is not showing up
I can get it to show up in camera mode but not video. Is there something I need to check on the menu in video mode or???

While the electronic level is available when you're setting up a movie shot, it disappears when you begin shooting your movie. After you stop shooting, you may bring the level back by pressing the INFO button.

I tried recover mode twice and it did nothing. The 15 day warranty is already up and I'm just wondering if I need to replace the battery at all? Also, before it stopped charging, it would turn off for no reason and the only way to turn it back on was to plug it into a charger and then it would turn right back on and have the same amount of battery that it had when it turned off... Is it the battery I need to replace??

It has downloaded into your download folder. Find it in your downloads and click on it to install itunes.

I just restored my ipod and the power button works, as well as the home button but when I slide the unlock button it doesn't respond. Basically it is not sensing that I am touching it and I can not get out of the home screen. I've tried restoring it and restarting it but nothing seems to work. When I press the iTunes button on my ipod touch I get the message 'cannot connect to iTunes store' . My wifi is working fine, I can connect to safari & you tube, no parental setting in place, and time and date are correct. Can anyone help please? I have restored my ipod to factory settings and rest it.
I also tried moving the date forward by a year and then moving it back to normal and it still doesn't work. i can't find an automatic update of time zones on my itouch to turn this off.

Right now my ipod classic is set on 'music'. When I push the munu button, it will not go back to the main menus, but it will still go forward and select and play music normally. I tried resetting it by holding the menu and center buttons until the apple logo appeared, but the problem is still there.
If your battery level is low, recharge it first for at least 2 hours, preferably 4 hours.
After the Apple Logo, you release the buttons, what do you see on the iPod screen? (language selection?)

iTunes gives me the message that it has detected an iPod in recovery mode and that I need to restore the factory settings. When I click the "restore" button iTunes downloads the software. This is a 30 minute process. Once the download completes, I get the same message "iTunes detects an iPod in recovery mode....". I'm running Windows Vista and ZoneAlarm security software.
I've tried this restore function multiple times and still get the same results.
I've also tried resetting the iPod by holding the wake/sleep button and the Home button at the same time. The iPod turns on but shows the icons of a usb cable connecting to iTunes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.This maybe yuor problem:

When I click on a photo in the library it appears really large and only a portion is displayed. If I edit it in Photoshop it then behaves properly but this is happening a lot.

Having had a hard drive wipe thanks to Windows 8.1 I am trying to re-install Photoshop Elements 11 that I bought on line from Adobe. There appears to be 2 downloaded files but I can't get them to open. I have my serial numbers etc. Any clues?
