Trying to sync my music but it will not

My ipad2 would not turn on I took it back and got a replcement and now I can't get my I tunes to sync.Need help.

Is your iPad recognized by iTunes - it is available under Devices in the iTunes source list when connected?
If so, what does can't get iTunes to sync mean? Sync what? What selections have you made under the various tabs for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes to be synced or transferred?

Iphone will sync with one computer at a time.
When you sync to another it will delete the current content.
Make sure you have copied everything from your old computer to your new one first.

been looking for something a bit like it got an old ipod thouch in a audio dock in the kitchen and want to give it access to all my music not just play what is synced
so far my only options is to get an app to use upnp to get the music directly from my nas
or get some app which require the computer to be running and running some program to handle it
and as far as I can tell getting access to stuff synced on the atv is a no go

You use the redemption code to obtain a serial number.

I can understand this with videos you are streaming, i.e. maybe you have a slow data connection.
Videos on your phone should not do this. Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

My airport express seems to no longer be supported by Apple. Was working fine, just blinking amber. So tried to update and reset, but update will not install with Lion? Im disgusted.

So I reset express, yes that was a mistake because it was at least functioning on my stereo, now it does not function at all and shows on my wifi as "airport express", used to be labled "stereo". So it asks for an update, I download the update, but computer will not allow update to be installed. I understand that there are two issues: one, the Java extension, Java Development Toolkit 7.0.670.1 10.67.2.1does not give the option to Always Activate and two, the addon Trend Micro NSC Firefox Extension 6.5.0.1234 is disabled and does not show the Java pop up in result creating a security concern.
Unfortunately Java can be used to control your computer, it's considered vulnerable to hackers and other things. As for the other addon, there are other security precautions that can be taken. The Java toolkit is meant to advise the best version of Java, however [http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp] that will help verify the correct version.

iTunes yesterday got halfway through a sync (it did recognise it for a short time) but today, since the upgraded iTunes, it won't even recognise the phone. I have tried using iTunes' diagnostics and the device tests say that no iphone, ipod or ipad can be found. I have so many tunes on iTunes that I am worried i will lose.
My last iPhone was my first and was synced up fine with my laptop.

That would be the wireless number assigned by AT&T when the purchaser of the iPhone signed up as a customer with AT&T. If neither you nor your uncle ever activated the iPhone with AT&T, click the "non customer" button.
Note that jailbreaking often renders it impossible to get an iPhone officially unlocked, so don't be surprised if it fails. If it does, then you may have to buy a new iPhone, this time one that is officially unlocked.
