hi i have been trying to sync my spotify with facebook on my mobile but as i have already done this with previous account it wont let me and i cant seem to find any way to un sync old account any help plz thanks

Unable to login to spotify desktop app (windows 7) with facebook login credentials.

I am having the same issue... I have even tried that cool trick where you use your facebook email and your facebook password and that does not work. I have uninstalled, re-installed, restarted, Tried to click on music to play in spotify, nothing. I am running the current version since I downloaded it again about 15 minutes ago. I have premium, and I am using windows 7 os. When I try to log in the non facebook way it says "service is temporarily unvailable, please try again later." When I try to use the 'log on with facebook, it opens a window in my chrome browser and that line says 'logging in to spotify' and it closes the window and makes the login to facebook button unclickable. All my updates are current on my computer. My antivirus does not see spotify as a threat. IE does not work either. I have tried pretty much everything. I am frustrated and really would like to have my music back.

Sharing new post on Facebook,- not working correctly anymore

I use to be able to update my blog and then go to that entry and click on the " Share on Facebook" in my bookmark bar and it would automatically share it on facebook. A picture would come up and the title of the entry. But this is no longer working? I tried reseting the "share on Facebook" button, I've tried copying the link and inserting it in the "post a link" field and nothing works. It shares a long url and then when you click on it, it says:

We can't find the page you requested. Please make sure the URL is spelled and capitalized correctly, and try again.
I don't get it? Any help would be great!

Thanks for the pointers! I found that by adding facebook.com to the my cookies exception list, things started working again. I read somewhere else that the new Firefox does some conversions of URL's entered without www. into ones with that. Might something like that explain why facebook has always worked in the past but stopped working with the release of 14? Seems to be working fine now.

Syncing iPhone 4s with PC not working

I've connecting my BRAND NEW iPhone 4s to my PC and it is not responding in iTunes. I have the most complete, up-to-date software, made sure that the Apple Support software was installed correctly and have restarted both my computer and my iPhone. I have also check to make sure that it was not the cable and tried a different one, this did not help either. I'm taking the phone back tomorrow if this isn't resolved asap. What's the point of having "an awesome phone" if problems like this occur, especially for the money spent on it.

Note the difference in your reply vs. his Gail. You asked a clarifying question in which I can tell you're interested in figuring out the problem. Whereas his/her response was simply a link. I agree that these links are rather helpful at times, but I've been dealing with this for two days and was very specific about detailing in the original post that I went through those steps. Perhaps, it would have been more clear had I specified I went through the troubleshooting offered by Apple already, but someone who posts a link to the detail that I went through as a response, clearly didn't bother reading more than the title.
I appreciate the help, but individuals that are on here replying to posts and figuring out these types of dilehmas are individuals who enjoy doing so and actually learn from it. If someone posts a problem I would at least have the decency to type out a response, as you did, instead of trying to boost their ranking on Apple's Support Community by posting a link that might be helpful to someone who only types the title and nothing more.

Sync Razr V3c with iCal---not working after OS 10.4.6 upgrade

I have been syncing my ical to my Razr V3c successfully for several months. Since the recent upgrade to OS 10.4.6 I can sync contacts, but when I select my phone icon in isync it tells me that my phone does not suppor ical. Why all of a sudden does it not. The phone is listed as compatable under the list of phones from the isync website. The verizon version is not compatable, but this phone is from US Cellular. Any ideas of how to solve the problem?

Apple explicitly de-activated calendar support for Verizon V3c phone, certainly for a good reason. It is easy to re-activate that support but at your own risks.

Trying to sync new Iphone4S with an older Mac (OS X 10.5.8) to pull music and photos from Mac. When i plug in IPhone to the Mac, it says I need to update to iTunes (currently version 10.6.3) 11.1 or higher, but my Mac cant update to iTunes 11. Any suggestions?

Your Mac is running an operating system version that is now four versions old. Leopard (OS X 10.5) was released in October, 2007.
At a minimum, you must purchase the next version (Snow Leopard, which came out in 2008) and update it to version 10.6.8 to install the current version of iTunes.

I have the same problem. It is only with tv shows and only with programs I have downloaded after the software update.
Apple support sent me the above link too....but it doesn't solve the problem...my computer is authorized and the content is in my library and will play on my Mac air, but it will not sync the tv shows, it keeps saying my computer isn't authorized for it.

Sure-glad to help you. You will not lose any data by changing synching to MacBook Pro from imac. You have set up Time Machine, right? that's how you'd do your backup, so I was told, and how I do my backup on my mac. You should be able to set a password for it. Save it. Your stuff should be saved there. So if you want to make your MacBook Pro your primary computer, I suppose, back up your stuff with Time machine, turn off Time machine on the iMac, turn it on on the new MacBook Pro, select the hard drive in your Time Capsule, enter your password, and do a backup from there. It might work, and it might take a while, but it should go. As for clogging the hard drive, I can't say. Depends how much stuff you have, and the hard drive's capacity. As for moving syncing from your iMac to your macbook pro, should be the same. Your phone uses iTunes to sync and so that data should be in the cloud. You can move your iTunes Library to your new Macbook pro

time machine is an application, and should be found in the Applications folder. it is built in to OS X, so there is nothing else to buy. double click on it, get it going, choose the Hard drive in your Time capsule/Airport as your backup Time Machine and go for it. You should see a circle with an arrow on the top right hand of your screen (the Desktop), next to the bluetooth icon, and just after the wifi and eject key (looks sorta like a clock face). This will do automatic backups of your stuff.

Sync works the same way it always has, connect the device, select the content desired to sync and sync.
All the media should be in iTunes already, iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
If this is a new computer, move the content from the old computer to the new computer.

My Iphone 4 is telling me the same thing and I believe I figured out what the problem is. I had some fraudulent charges on my itunes account, so I call my bank and disputed the charges. Right after I did that, I started getting the message "Your apple ID has been disabled." I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases." One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things. It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!. My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money. She spent $106.00 buying stuff. Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes. I'm hoping this solves the problem.
