Trying to synch a two part audio book, but only get part 2.

I downloaded a two part audio book from iTunes onto my iPad. I synched my iPat to my MacBook Pro but only got part 2 of the book to synch. I've confirmed that I had the book selected to synch. Thoughts?

When you have the iPad selected, and select the audiobook to sync, can you see the two parts of the book, and are they both selected?

'moving images' are created by projecting frames so fast, the human eye gets tricked, not to notice a slide-show but … a movie.
a TV, esp. the old tube ones, 'write' a frame onto the screen, line by line (a frame is made of pixels, in rows and lines - take a very, very close look of your screen)
the picture on the TV is shown for about a 1/30th of a second, a camera is able to record, letssay for example sake, a 1/60th = only half frame is 'seen'/recorded.
.... it's never a good idea to record projected movies, not from a projection, not from a screen - you should synchronize both devices - which is for normal people like us impossible.

When two or more wireless base stations are configured in a roaming network, they are all interconnected by Ethernet. Each base station will retain a unique base station name, but will use the same Network Name (also called SSID), wireless security type, & password. As far as wireless network clients are concerned, this type of network will appear as a single wireless network. You can literally walk (roam) with a laptop between routers and still be connected to the "same" wireless network.
In my case, I have a main Internet router that provides an Ethernet network (backbone) throughout my 2-story home. On each floor I have placed an AirPort base station that connects back to this main router. Both AirPorts are configured for a roaming network. This configuration allow me to be in any room on either floor and still get wireless Internet access.

For an "extended" network, both units will need to be AirPorts. For a "roaming" network, they can be units provided by different manufacturers. Again, in my example, the "main" router is a Cisco RVS4000.

I bought an audio book, but only Part 1 downloaded and there seems to be no Part 2 available. How do I get the remaining 6 hours? Does anyone have any options.

I need to put three parts together. I tried adding duplicates of the song to the list but if If I change the start time on one it will change it on all of them.

In your library, right-click the song you want to edit.
select "get info".
go to "options" and select the start and stop times for your first section of the song.
click "OK".
Find the shortened version of the song in your library. It may take a minute for it to show up. right click it again and select "create (????) version". (the ???? is different for different formats).
The library will spit out a new, second version of the song which you can rename. I suggest you use the original title and add a 1 to the end.
Now you can go back to the other version and repeat the process with a different start/stop time.
Once you are done editing, you can burn all of your versions to a disk, just make sure your interval time is zero so there are no gaps between edits.
To keep the orginal song on your library, just go back to the original and put the start/stop times back to the original settings.

Audio books are only partial, I can't get the entire book halfway through it starts beeping

My audible audiobooks are not being completely syncing.
Of a 33hour book I only get half then my iPod starts with a skipping noise.
I tried using an enhanced format same thing.
I can listen to the entire book on my computer, just not my iPod.

Welcome to the Support Communities! Are you working on a PC or a Mac? Have you had any playback issues with other audiobooks? This troubleshooting article is for Windows, but it has some pertinent information regarding updating to the latest version of iTunes and updating drivers. Also, be sure to confirm you have anough space available on your iPod nano for this audiobook.

In GarageBand 10.0.2 you can no longer add all kinds of effects freely; this GarageBand '11 feature has been discontinued. Pick one of the predefined patches that already has the effects you want.
However, you can add effects from the predefined audio units.
You'll see the predefined effects on the track, when you open the Smart Controls. To add audio units, click the button and enlarge the the smart controls pane by dragging the dividing line to the Track Area upwards.

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download. Have you not got a copy of it on your computer and/or on a backup that you can sync to the iPad ? That's not the issue iCloud was not a option and backing up previous purchased audio books was not a problem but now it is. One download or more like one year etc...? Otherwise its back to the dark ages. Perhaps but then why has support not responding if its this simple? iCloud now gives another money grab opportunity light. Oh I'm sure a notice was posted by iTune and now my purchases have lapsed. It's only money what I don't agree with is the terms changing wasting my time and not responding. I've asked the questions, done the requirements but iCloud is a mess for if not managed daily. They change terms and environments as they please. Hey it's in the fine Print buyer beware.

A refund may not be possible since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

It's possible they'll make an exception for you. An exception is more likely if the app is defective in some way or doesn't do what the developer advertised and the developer has been unable or unwilling to help you.
