Trying to understand reasons for a FX loss

Hi All,
Firstly our LC is same as SC.
We have run the exchange rate differences tool and it has posted a huge £30k loss against the expect gains. We need to understand where the loss has been driven from, i.e exact transactions involved.
I can't seem to find any reports which give a break down of it's calculations?
Separately, what we find worrying is that it revalued our stock (GBP) lower from the exchange rate calcuation when we have never bought stock in euros. We do sell to BP's who are set to Euros and I understand transactions are conducted therefore in FC, but how a GBP stock account managed to devalue after a posted stock take is beyond me.
any ideas to these two questions? all help appreciated.

Hi,
It is better to get to the detailed differences to analysis. This can be done such as by query to list all transactions from JDT1 that related to a BP.
May I assume your LC and SC are GBP?

Hi Gurus,
I have an issue where I am not able to put reason for rejection for line item in sales order. It gives error as please delete the follow on document purchase order line item number 10. I have already deleted the line item in purchase order. Then tried but did not work. Tried by deleting the purchase requision item also but it did not work.
Tried to undelete the item from PO and then again tried to put reason for rejection but it could no worked out.
Please guide me what can be the solution.

As far a I understand you created PO for line item
So first check whether GR is reversed or not for PO
Then mark this line item for deletion in PO and then in PR
Check if you have created any billing document for PO if so reversed that invoice
Also check if you have created any delivery for the Line item in sales order if yes then reversed the same
If you have Sales order related Billing, and if you have done billing reverse the same
If you have Delivery related Billing, and if you have done billing reverse the same
After reversing all docuemnts created for Sales order then only try to reject the line item
You can check table VBFA for document flow

I Have checked in Google and in scn But Not able to find exact one

Created sales order line item ---150 qnty Now delivered---100 qnty PGI As well as
Now Clint wants to give reason For rejection For 50 qnty
Now Generally what we are doing is Just changing the qnty in sales order change mode VA02 --100
But some times they have so many open line items are there and not possible to change in all line items exact number
So now i trying to give reason for rejection Line item For full 150 qnty Because Automatically 50 qnty Will be reduced in MD04
But when i am Giving reason For rejection To line item system is giving error msg that subsequent document is being processed
So any Enhancement shall we do To skip this

But I can not see that the excess qty (not delivered) is being deducted from MRP, when Reason for Rejection is set.
Sir we can see ...May be it will take 5 mnts time To be updated ( MD04)
By the By , sir you have any idea To control This pop-up Message ( In your case it may be information msg But some times We are getting Error Msg )
so Where we can control Warning to Error like this
or it is related to enhancement issue

When we do a reason for rejection for a configurable material or a sales order line item for which a sales order stock or production order exists,System doesn't throw a error message while trying to do reason for rejection for the line item in sales order.
How to bring error message for a line item in sales order when subsequent order like production order exists for that sales order(make to configure mateiral) or sales order stock exists..

when user confirm the order with reason for variance Z999 (machine broke down)
In the order header, I have attach status profile ZBLOCK contain 2 user status
a. UNR = Unrest ---> initial user status
b. LCK = lock for good movement and confirmation
In the reason for variance Z999 (machine broke) i have attach to status profile ZBLOCK user status LCK
But when i tried confirm worh reason for variance Z999, why the order not updated to LCK for its status?
Did i miss something?

Reset the device, restart the device, try downloading any other app.
All of these are basic steps that could have been found by a simple search of the forums as a resolution for the issue.

UTL_HTTP.end_of_body Exception Error. Trying to Understand the Reason Why?

I have the following PLSQL Function that returns a End_of_body Error. This started when we migrated from 10g to 11g. It is simple enough to capture so the error does not stop the Function Flow, but the error causes the OCI driver in OBIEE to error, which prevents the use of OBIEE IBOT to execute. Trying to understand why this error is occurring..not sure if we have a permissions issue on the UTL_HTTP Package or what?
Anyone seen this problem in 11g? Suggests on resolving would be great. Thanks.

One possible reason for the spinning beachball with versions 10.0.2 trying to play/see anything

Hi there.
I discovered today what is the reason for the strange problem I've been having with FCP X from 10.0.2+. The problem was that I just couldn't use it: I couldn't see any media in the canvas/preview pane, no matter if it was video, jpgs, psds, whatever. Trying to use or reproduce a project was just more of the same: a spinning beachball forever. At some point, from time to time, the black from the preview pane changes to a checkboard, but that was all.
This happened in 10.0.3, 10.0.4 and 10.0.5.
I tried everything, removing the events, projects, and so on. The only thing that worked was to create a new user in my machine and use FCPX there. Everything seems to work fine there. I did that yesterday at 3am. Today I saw that the colors were off in that user, and I remembered that the calibration is not setup at the system level, but for each user, so went on to change the profile to use the one I did for my screen (I have my screens calibrated frequently). Voilá, now FCPX doesn't work anymore on the new user. The only change was the profile, so I went to System Preferences, selected the old (default) profile, and now FCPX works fine.
I don't know if the problem is my profile (I created it with ColorEyes DisplayPro, I don't have anything else right now to try to create a new one) or if the issue is with FCPX itself, as I have only had problems with FCPX related to the profile. In any case, the issue is now identified in my case, and even if I don't like to work in a non-calibrated screen, that will have to do for now.
I will try some other calibration software and see if the results are the same, but I thought of sharing my findings here in case someone is still having this issue.
Tomorrow that the 5770 arrives for my Mac Pro 1,1 I'll try to run it, also with the calibrated screen, and see what happens.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean with "the profile is downstream from ColorSync"?
I'm willing to accept that there is something wrong with the way ColorEyes DisplayPro is making the profile, although if the OS loads it and uses it and doesn't complain at all - nor any other app I use - I don't see why FCP should have issues with it. But I'm willing to try some other app to create the profile for the screen and will do as soon as I can get my hands on some other.
Between lines, hopefully I'm wrong, but I read you are telling me that FCP doesn't support having a "typical" monitor calibration, usual in printing/photography/etc workflows, but only supports calibrated output through broadcast monitors, using third party hardware? And that in the Color screen settings I must not use any "user generated" screen profile?

First off, you can't have upgraded from 10.4.1, as that won't run on a MacBook. 10.4.4 is minimum. 10.4.10, and 10.4.11 are different from 10.4.1.
Secondly, it appears Reason 4.0.1 is needed for 10.6:

Check with the developers in question if they are aware of any bugs in the upgrade process.
