Trying to uninstall Elements 6 on a Mac.

Using an iMac with OS Lion. Just installed Elements 8. Want to uninstall older Elements 6.
The Adobe installers that are in the Utilities folder have only one item for Elements 6.
Running that it asks to install the original software disc. How do I do an uninstall?

The folder only had one application called Photoshop Elements.
When it ran it offered two options. 1. Re-install 2. Remove items.
I tried the 2nd option and it led to the removal of everything related to Elements 6 including the application.
It appears to have been a success.

I'm also ripping out my har having bought the Elements 11 combined pack and no matter how I try to install (disk, internet download etc. it always errors out e.g.

Downloaded trial elements 12, want to uninstall but keep getting an error message. What do I do, or could someone direct me to a thread already in existence?

I'm trying to uninstall Citrix receiver from my MAC Air but the program won't close. Any ideas?

I have a MAC Air running MAC OS 10.7.3. After downloading Citrix server, I have uninstalled the program but the icon remains in the dock and I can't quit the Citrix receiver on my desktop (it appears to be trying to find a webpage for its server). Trying to reach Citrix for a solution has been unsuccessful. Has anyone else had problem uninstalling this program?

Ok so I have a copy of Elements 9 I want to download to my MAC. I have the serial number and everything. Is there a way to download it from Adobe? I know we are at 12 and I have that too, but sometimes it's just hard to let software go.

Hope you have a backup.
Reinstalling OS X should not have any effect on applications or user data.
Erase and Install will wipe out the disk clean.
Safari and Mail should not be deleted.

Downloaded elements 12, said to uninstall and try again, uninstalled CS6 as I thought that was the problem, then tried to also uninstall Elements 12 and it couldn't uninstall elements 12. Now what?

Tried to install Elements 12. It said to uninstall and try again as it couldn't open. Remembered I have CS6 on there so I uninstalled that, then tried to uninstall Elements 12 but now Elements 12 cannot be completely uninstalled. Now what should I do?

Just tried putting the disc in, clicked on "install" and it attempted to uninstall the program but again failed so now I can't install it at all. Anyone know the phone number for Adobe so they can help me? They of course don't post it on their website. :/

Installing elements 10 on a MAC

How to uninstall Elements 8?

I installed Elements 10, but when I tried to uninstall Elements 8 I get, "Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file C:\Windows\Installer\AdobePhotoshopElements8.0.msi" I searched the web and found one set of instuctions to manually remove the folder and registry entries. The folders were easy, but the registry instructions appear to be for previous versions of Windows. Are there any instructsion for Windows 7?

Actually, I spoke too soon. When I checked I an only find about half of
the items listed. I cannot find HKCR\Software|Adobe\Elements Organizer nor
Photoshop elements. In HKCR\Software\Adobe\ folder there is only Acrobat.
In HKLM\Software there is no Adobe subfolder.
Also, it isn't clear to me what it means to remove the registry entry. Do
I delete the subfolder or something else. For exampe
HKLM\Software\Classes\Installer\UpgradeCodes\5C1E2F4B17C6F69... is listed
as a subfolder and in the right panel it has 2 items with their names
(Default and C73EFD71E...) the type (REG_SZ for both) and Data ("value not
set" on the first and blank on the second). So do I delete the subfolder
or an item in the subfolder.
Sorry for the questions, but I'm finding this difficult.
