Trying to update an on my iphone 3gs and it keeps saying cannot connect to itunes
i am trying to update my hayday on my iphone 3gs, i put in my password and then it comes up with cannot connct to itunes, i've tried messing with the phone but nothing is working can any one help please
Try in order one at a time:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Download the apps on the computer and then sync the iPod to the computer.
- Retore the iPod from backup

My iPad works perfectly except when trying to update apps. Then I get a message that says "Cannot connect to the iTunes store."
Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.
If that doesn't solve it then what has worked for some people is going into Settings > General > Date & Time and change the date to a few months in the future and then re-trying -

When I try to download my updates it keeps saying cannot connect to iTunes store please help I'm going mad!
a lot of people have posted about this and i have seen one weird thing fix this. people said they where going into date and time under settings and changing the date to some time in the future and then going to the itunes store and it would give them an error that there date and time was wrong. then all you need to do is go back and set the date and time right and go back to the itunes store and try again.
Im not sure why this did the trick but a bunch of people said that this helped them out..... Weird i know

how do i set up email on my iphone??? it says "cannot connect using ssl" whats this mean, i cant recieve or send emails coz of this
Try just choosing yes when it says that. And yes if you get it a second time. Lots of mail providers don't use SSL.

Why does my iPhone 3gs keep saying "cannot connect to iTunes store" when I try to purchase anything?
I have tried to purchase songs on iTunes tonight and my iPhone keeps telling me "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". I can listen to samples of the music I want, I am just not able to download them. Any suggestions??
Same here........ I'm using my iPhone, iPad and MacBook pro and I "cannot connect to iTunes"............my Internet connection is great......... The apple store might be doing some update!

Can you access the internet in other apps?
If so,
Verify your date and timezone
Settings > General > Date & Time
Clear Cache, Cookies, and History in Safari
Settings > Safari > Clear...
Restart iPad (do not just put to sleep, actually restart) -

If you cannot connect to your incoming mail server, then you need to check your mail account and the incoming mail settings. What is the rest of the error that it shows about not being able to connect to the server. It should provide you with more info.

My 3GS will not let me login to iTunes or App store. It says "cannot connect to iTunes store".
In iTunes, do Store->View my AppleID
Click "Deuthorize ALL"
Then, on any computers you still have, do Store->Authorize this computer. If there are less than 5, you will have no problem.
You can only do "deauthorize all" once a year, so in the future, if you ever throw a computer away, remember do to "Store->Deauthorize this computer" first. -

App Store does not show download status.
Hi There, in need a bit of help.. apparently, the App store on my macbook pro does not sure any download status for the apps i download. However, i do see a growing bar on my dock for the app i am downloading. Is there any way i can get it to show?
