Trying to update apps

Recently, I got a new replacement phone because of the iPhone 5 power button recall. I restored from my original's phone backup via iTunes, but now it won't allow me to update my apps.
I keep getting this popup message, when trying to update any app and it doesn't disappear after tapping on "download". The message repeats itself in a continuous loop and pressing cancel doesn't help either.
Has anyone been having this problem and if yes how do you fix it?

I just contacted the Whatsapp developers with the same issue, because that's the only app where I have this problem.
DO NOT DELETE THE APPS! For me, trying to delete the app and download it again failed. I got the same pop-up loop when I tried to download it again from the store.
Again, this has only happened to me for Whatsapp, both update and download, but it's clearly an App Store issue.

I have been asked by a client to take an NTSC disc I made and convert it to PAL. It would seem to me that the best way to do this is to have the Beta SP master converted, then encode it to MPEG II with PAL settings. Then redo the DVDSP file with PAL
