    Hi, I get the error code 85 when trying to update Creative Cloud. The download fails at 43%. I can't do anything else if I don't update first, from what I see. I just want to access the App tab to download the trial of Illustrator. I had already installed Creative Cloud and Flash. Why can't I skip the update and report it for later?

    If you are still having the issue. You can try reinstalling the Creative Cloud app using the Adobe Clean tool

    Make sure that you have the updated CC app installed and that you are logged in as an administrator. Which OS are you using? You don't to install the applications updates as it should launch.

    I have received a notification, that the is an essential update that I ned to execute.
    When I click the Update button in the Creative Cloud Window, the downliad start, but reaching 62% progress, I'm told that the update was unsuccesfull and that I should contact Adobe support. Trying that brougt me to this community, so, anyone, please help.

    I'm trying to update Creative Cloud on our PC. The installation failed the first time. I had our IT person disable our virus software and tried again. This usually works. This time however it has been sitting on 0% for over an hour without telling me it's failed or that the program is not responding.     Thank you for getting back to me. I was able to locate the opm.db file and delete it. (as instructed below) I go to applications>Adobe Creative Cloud and double click. It prompts me to login, it logs in and says there is an update, I click update and it prompts me to sign in with my password, I enter the same password and it doesn't take it. Also, the opm.db file is back in the OOBE folder. Im I launching Creative Cloud incorrectly?
    Close the Creative Cloud Desktop application.
    Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: :\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
    Delete the opm.db file.
    Launch Creative Cloud. Try signing in.

    I'm trying to download creative cloud but it says a copy is already running on my mac.  Checked and closed all programs and I still get the same message

    It means some or few files are running in the back ground, you can close them from Task manager (Windows) or Activity Monitor(Mac).
    In case you have difficulty in identifying the processes being run for CC, the best way would be to close the computer completely which shall close all the processes, once you turn on the computer, download CC first.

    Only one Adobe Creative Suite 5 or CS5.5 installation can run a time. Otherwise, one of the following error messages appears:

    Click Quit (for the first message) or No (for the second message) to exit the installer.  
    Close other Adobe setups:  
      Windows
    Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager.  
    Select the Processes tab, and select Show Processes From All Users.  
    Select any PDapp.exe or setup.exe process, and click End Process.  
    Repeat for all additional instances of PDapp.exe or setup.exe processes.  
      Mac OS  
    Press Command + Option + Esc.
    In the Force Quit Applications window, select PDapp or Adobe Setup and click Force Quit.
    Repeat for all additional instances of the applications.
    Retry the installer.

    You may try to follow the steps below:
    1.Close the Creative Cloud application.
    2.Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
    3.Delete the opm.db file.
    4.Launch Creative Cloud.
