Trying to update my Apps and is tells me to sign in with account used. I only have one account and it shows up on my updates. What do I do?
I cannot get my program updates. When I log into App Store, and try to update my purchased programs listed under "purchased" it will not let me. It says that I must log into the account used to purchase the apps. This is the ONLY account I have, and it is listed on my account under purchases. Proof they were purchased with this account. What do I do???
Did this. However, it didn't have an okay button to confirm change. Went back to general pointing and clicking and then ALL of a sudden, App Store opened up with two of my updates. They download completely. There was nothing I did, but appears to be done. Thanks for your help!

I need help to sync my ipod. When connected to my computer, itunes tells me it is synced to another account. I only have one account. I had tons of stuff stored on itunes, now my itunes account is blank. I fear connecting my iphone or ipad now. How did this happen?
Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything back.
You can sync iphone/ipad to one and only one itunes library at a time. Syncing to another will indeed erase the iphone. -
I keep getting notified I have an update available but when I try to update I get the following msg ,"You have updates available for other accounts To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it.". I only have one account with apple and the software was preinstalled when I purchased my macbook in Aug 2012 with that account. Has anyone had this problem or know how to find out what account apple needs?
You log into the App store using the same Apple ID you used to set the computer up, verify that none of your apps are hidden and that they have all be accepted and then download and install the update

I can't sync my ipod anylonger. I have 2 nano's and 1 touch. my itunes does not recognize them anymore. Some of the songs on itunes are not on my ipod, and vice versa. I can download songs from itunes, but it does not allow me to log on anylonger.

I am getting a bit concerned about what is happening in your situation. Yesterday you posted your question in at least two different forums, one of them being here in the Premiere Elements Forum.
Don't Have Serial Number for Premiere, Only Photoshop?
Wherever you posted, the reply was to contact Adobe via its Adobe Chat. It is the only one who can sort out this matter for you.
In the thread cited above I offered to help you with the difficulties that you were having visualizing the Adobe Chat in its web page. I was waiting for your follow up on that in the above thread. Instead, I find your same question in a new Adobe Premiere Elements Forum thread this afternoon with no refer the prior threads or prior recommendations given you.
I will also mention again...when you buy the Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements bundled in one packaging and with installation files for each on the same installation disc, each program has its own serial number. The Photoshop Elements serial number does not work for Premiere Elements and vice versa. The serial numbers are on labels on a box which houses the installation disc envelope(s). So, if you purchased both programs and found the Photoshop Elements serial number, then the Premiere Elements serial number should be in a label right underneath the label with the serial number for Photoshop Elements. I recall writing this in your yesterday's thread on this matter.
The moderator will no doubt be along shortly to close or delete this thread. So, just in case, please bookmark your yesterday's thread cited above so that we can continue this communication which is trying to help you.

I saw Brett Terpstra's answer in his quickTip fixing the other account issue in the mac app store issue and followed those directions and still have this issue. I have only one apple ID and still can't update the basics such as Iphoto...

Did you actually buy the app or did it Come free on your Mac when you bought it? Kf it camefree on your Mac, did you sign into your account look on the Purchases pane and except the iLife apps?

I'm setting up my MacBook Air and it tells me to sign in with my apple ID so that I can set up features like iTunes and iCloud and such but when I try to sign in it says there's a server error. What do I do? Do I try to skip the step? How can I fix this?

You should only get that message when you are trying to create a new account.
Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your mobile device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer. -
My apple ID password works for all of my devices but one. i only have one account and have changed the password several times but still cannot get it to work on my iPhone. any suggestions would be appreciated.

it turns out that my iphone seems to default to an incorrect User ID (it defaults to an @me account, which is not something that i have ever used).
even when i change the User ID in my settings for the iTunes store, it still appears when i attempt to get updates for my existing apps. however, it does seem to use the correct ID when i attempt to purchase new apps.
If someone actually had an answer to correct this, i would love to update my existing apps.

I have Lion, and I can't see my unread messages count in the dock, even after the preferences set up.
I find the Lion Mail too complicated. Leopard was much easier and more simple to use. I only have one account& don't need all the rest.

I can log into the sync account management with this URL https://account.services.mozilla.com and nothing is listed. When I go to the Sync tab within the preferences window, only two options are listed: Setup a New Account and or Pair a Device. Setting up an account doesn't allow me to use the email address I would like to, saying the email is already in use. I can't "pair a device" because the computer I'm trying to "pair" is my main computer (laptop). I used sync way back when it first came out and it seems as though there are new requirements (legal and otherwise) requiring me to setup a new account. How do I setup and use sync with the email address I have in place already without having to use another email address?
There was a major change in Sync services back in Dec 2010, but nothing w9th regards to the Username / email address and Password since that time.
Use this to reset your Sync Password if you can't remember it, for an existing account. <br />

What ever you may have stored on the Sync Server will be erased so you will be starting with with new data in the system. -
IIt was in my mind to load office then transfer. After to load paralels and transfer my windows system. I have a new copy of office for Mac plus paralels PC to Mac transfer version 8. As this is my first mac (I have ipads and iphones) I am unsure of what to do. Also to confuse matters I use a windows laptop as my sync machine for the phones and ipads (i do have a cloud account with backup) can I transfer both machines to my new imac? I will have a 1tb fusion drive + 2tb time capsule although I only have less than 400GB of data on both machines. Hope this is not too confusing for everyone but I am looking forward to sorting this mess out by just using the one machine.
Use the Office for Mac and ignore using Parallels for that. If you have PC only apps you have to run that are MS Windows only then consider Parallels. Just transfer your main PC, using Migration Assistant. If you don't know how then simply read over Pondini's article called Lion or Mountain Lion Setup Assistant tips and look for the section on migrating from a PC. Millions have done what you are about to, it's far from leading edge these days, if you go to an Apple Store to purchase they will offer this as a service, something you might be interested in.

I can't get on line with out some keychain request for a password but it will not accept the one password I have. I really hate this. I have tried to unlock the local items but it want's a password and it will not take my password... PLEASE PLEASE genious MAC people fix this. If your computer was purchased less than 90 days ago, you are entitled to free telephone support from Apple. The period is longer if you purchased Apple Care and extended your warranty.

What OS are your running? If you can access your user library, you can go to Keychains/login.keychain and move it to your desktop. Restart and a new login keychain should be created. If successful, delete the one from your desktop. -
I am trying to authorize my computer and it is telling me I reached my limited of 5 computers. It says I need to de-authorize one of the five computers that is authorized. I don't have any other computers. Please help.
Take a look at this Apple support article; it may help:
One computer using multiple iTunes Store authorizations
If not, then there will be a button in your iTunes Store account information that will allow you to deauthorize all systems associated with that account. Log into your Store account and you should see it. You can then reauthorize the computer(s) you're using now. You can do this only once per year, though, so try my first suggestion before you use the "deuthorize all" option.
