Trying to update software on i phone 4 to 5.0.1 back up taking over 15hrs with little movement in progress bar please help
why wont any of my i devices back up i trying to update to ios 5.0.1 back up taking 15hrs and no progress tried this twice on iphone4 and 3 times overnight on ipod touch 3gs what is going on please help really frustrated
IOS updates can take awhile, but if you have multiple applications open or a older compter it will slow the process.

Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service. -
I tried to update software on my Iphone 3 from Itunes after i managed to sync phone to laptop but then i had a message (error 1015) after completing saying itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode, i am now unable to do anything with my phone, please help!!
You generally get that error code on a jailbroken phone ?

If it wasn't Apple who replaced the battery, then you've voided your warranty. Bring it back to whomever replaced the battery and tell them they probably broke your phone.

After updating software on Iphone (wifi worked fine before the software update) I now can not get on wifi. The phone with not find a working wifi network nor can I connect manually. Wifi is working on other devices. I have turned the phone on and off, turned the wifi router on and off and reset the iphone and down loaded updated software to the phone. Nothing has worked. Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go. Try the update again.
