Trying to upgrade my Verizon 700wx to WM 6.0 but getting "serial number is not valid"

I have two Treo 700wx devices which are Verizon branded. They are brand new and have not been messed with. When I go to the page to download the updated ROM for WM 6.0 (http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/common/article/10133_en.html), it asks for the serial number. I have tried both of them and for each I get "We're sorry, but that serial number you have entered is not valid." I know I am entering them correctly and I I know no one has already downloaded the update for these.
Does anyone have any fix for this? Or a direct location I can download the update from? [email protected]

    You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

    Ok, thank you for your answer. I'm not sure about what you mean with "system informations or other technical details", but I'll try to give all the informations and details that I can.
    My PC is a Packard Bell "imedia S3710", Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz, with 6,00 GB of RAM and 64bit operative system, Windows 7 Home Premium. I bought it several years ago, I think in 2010, probably, and in the PC there was already Photoshop Elements 7. The program always worked, till today, when it stopped working. An error message popped up saying that Photoshop couldn't work anymore and that I needed to reinstall it or contact Adobe. Then I went of the Adobe website, donwloaded the program and tried to install it. A message told me that I had to uninstall the former copy of the program, so I did it, then I reinstalled Photoshop Elements 7 again. This time the installing process worked, then when I tried to open the program, it asked me the serial number. I went on the Adobe website, logged in with my account and recovered my serial number (provided by Adobe itself). Then I entered the serial number in the blanks and a message popped up saying that that serial number wasn't valid. Now, how can it be not valid if Adobe itself provided me that very serial number?

    I have deactivated photoshop in the old computer.
    The old laptop have photoshop installed with the DVD but the new laptop don't have DVD so i downloaded cs5 from Download CS5 products. ¿Maybe doing this is an error?

    the installation files work the same whether from a  disc or download, but there are other ways to mismatch a serial and installer.

    I've been an LR user from version 1. I buy each upgrade in a box, this time, only after the trial expired.
    It's from Amazon (not marketplace), so should be genuine. I'm logged in with my Adobe ID, and Adobe registers my ownership of the LR upgrade, but the programme rejects the serial number as "not valid". Thanks for any help.

    The provided serial key is a valid serial for Design and Web Premium CS6 Upgrade.
    To use the serial number you need to have the serial number fo the previous qualifying version handy as the installer will prompt to enter the olde serial number as well.

  • FCE V4 Upgrade Serial Number does not work

    I have just bought the upgrade to FCE 4 and when I try to install it and it asks for my name and serial number I get an error saying the serial number is not valid.
    I've entered it over and over and double checked I entered it correctly but it stills says its not valid.
    I do have a full version of FCE 3 and an Upgrade to FCE 3.5 and then the 3.5.1 Update so this update should work.
    Anyone got any ideas?

    You must be entering it incorrectly. It's case sensitive, must be EXACTLY as on the sticker, leading number followed by groups of triplets. Watch for for zeros and ohs. If you're it's right and it's still not working, you have to contact Apple for an installation problem.

    Thanks for your response, but if you read my first mail, it's the original serial number that I don't have. I bought the original LR as download and have misplaced the serial number. Is there any way to find it???
