Trying to upload pic's Message error download image issue?

Trying to upload pic's from Iphone 4 to macbook air. iphoto is sending bcak an error message error downloading image? not able to upload?

Jeff,
When I purchased my Dell laptop a year ago it came loaded with Adobe Photoshop Premiere Elements 11 with photo editor and video editor. Since I really have only begun to learn to use the programs, and since I kept getting a message to upgrade now!, I decided to upgrade and learn to use edition 13 from the get-go. What I ordered was Photoshop Elements 13..order nbr AD014688152.
What is happening is that it downloads okay but when it tries to open in Elements 11 I get the error message that it can't load, wrong type of file.
My computer op system is Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit). I know I downloaded the 64-bit and not 32-bit.
Perhaps I ordered the wrong upgrade?
I appreciate your help . Let me know if you need additional info.

  • "Error downloading image." message when trying to import movies.

I recently just about filled up my iPhone 4's memory with videos shot from a family event. I noticed that just before I reached the memory's capacity that the videos started to drop frames then stopped recording.
When I try to download the videos I get an "Error downloading image." message. I'm running the latest OS and the latest version of iPhoto.
Any ideas? I hate to have to delete the videos without saving them.
    Thanks!

Launch Image Capture and see if it can see and download the iPhone's videos to the Desktop. There are some apps, like iPhone Explorer and iPhone Photo Transfer that might be able to download those files to the Desktop,
You can find them by searching for "iPhone" at MacUpdate.com.

  • Iphoto freezes when trying to upload pics

When I am working from an internet site and trying to upload pics ie; Facebook or my website, iphoto will freeze and I have to force quit safari and all my work is lost.
I have updated my software, and that doesn't seem to have helped.
When I am just in iphoto directly it works fine.
    What do I do?

It doesn't sound like you are actually in iPhoto. The way you can tell is, when you are doing whatever it is you do and the computer "freezes", look in the upper left corner right next to the Apple. What does it say?
It sounds like Safari is the program having issues.
Try going to the Safari Menu > Reset Safari. Uncheck the options for Remove other auto... and Remove Saved Names...
    See if that helps.

  • Downloading images issue.

Hello. I want to download images from a card, but am getting this message.
"To eject a disk, select it in the Finder and choose File > Eject. The next time you connect the disk, Mac OS X will attempt to repair any damage to the information on the disk."
The folder icon closes down.Very frustrating. Appreciate any help.
This is a brand new Mac Mini, with Mavericks software.
    Cheers

Are you inserting the "card" in the SD slot on the newer Mini's or what?
How did the photos get on the card?
What is the format of the card?
Can you now see the photos on the card when you read the card by another device?
The error message indictes that the card is corrupt.

  • Error when trying to upload pics to FB!

    Hi,
I have been trying for month's to get pics onto my new FB account from iPhoto, it keeps returning an error and is starting to get really annoying. Any tips or help would be great.

Here is the workflow you should be using, if you are not already:
    1. If you do not have the website on your local computer, you need to transfer it there.  Create a folder on your computer where your website will reside.
    2. In EW, do Site / Open site, put in the address of the live site, and open it
    3. Publish the entire site to your local computer
    4. Close the live site, and open the local site
From this point on, whenever you need to change a file, open your local site, work on the file, test it locally, then publish the changed file back to the live site.

  • New to RAW and trying to upload pics to Photoshop Elements 7

Hi I am using Windows XP and wanted to experiment with RAW pics....just bought a Cannon T3i and I am currently using Elements 7 and been searching for an update or patch so I can upload some RAW pics I took to Elements 7.  I been looking for about 3 hours and cant find the right update!  Can someone help me please!

Unfortunatly the needed camera raw plugin can't be used in photoshop elements 7, but you can use the free 7.3 DNG Converter to
convert your camera raw files to dng copies which pse 7 should open.
The minimum camera raw plugin needed is 6.4 and pse 7 can only be updated as far as 5.6
    7.3 dng converter:

Here's a list of cameras and the various versions of camera raw that support them:

Try this First... You will Not Lose Any Data...
    Turn the Phone Off...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
    Release the Buttons...
Turn the Phone On... and try again.
If no joy... Conntact your Carrier and check your phone plan.

  • Error downloading image. iPhoto cannot import your photos because there was a problem downloading an image.

I get this message when I upload certain videos from my Sony cybershot G.

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
    - History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
    - Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

  • Error Downloading Images

iPhoto cannot import your photos because there was a problem downloading an image.
I find it difficult to diagnose this problem from the given error message.
Anyone know of a useful remedy? I have tried all the obvious ones, reboot iMac, reboot iPhone 4, upgrade to latest IOS and OS and iPhoto 09, wiped iPhoto library to start with new iPhoto Library.
I am up for some advice, if there is one thing that really let's the Mac down it is the vague error messages that make it nigh impossible to work out what went wrong.

Where did the image come from?
What format is it currently in?
If you connect the device and open Image Capture do you see the image there?
Are you able to get the image on the desktop...or anywhere else on the computer?
More info and then we can work out what the problem is...

  • Iphone 5. "Error downloading image. "

"IPhoto cannot import your photos because there was a problem downloading an image."
How can I get Christmas photos off this iPhone 5 so I can upgrade to the iPhone 6?
    Thank you.

    Hi 2turtlesgolf,
Another possible way to move your pictures off the iPhone would be to share them directly from the Photos application using either Messages or Mail.
You coud also set up iCloud Photo Sharing. See this article -

  • Error downloading folio to iPad via Content Viewer

    Hello,
I'm having issues getting the folio to download to the Adobe Content Viewer for iPad app . . . every time I get this message "Error downloading folio. Please try again later."
    I've built a single-app folio:
    1024x768
    Viewer version: 20
    Orientation: Horizontal
    PDF format
Adobe InDesign CS6 with the latest folio tools and builder
The folio consists of a single article with one page that contains two video files (two thumbnails that play full screen when activated)
    OSX 10.8.2
I have both an iPad 2 and iPad 3rd generation that I have Adobe Content viewer on (latest version, iOS 6)
I've tried deleting the Content Viewer app and re-downloading a fresh version, I've tried completely rebuilding the folio from scratch, I've also created a new Adobe user name with a fresh account to try the folio with . . . and every time it uploads fine with no errors . . . . but refuses to download to the iPad.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or what I should try??

Doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong at all. It could be due to some performance problems on our servers that are creating problems downloading large files. Here are a few things that you could try:
If the folio is not already published, try publishing it as private. Downloads of published folios are often quicker.
Try creating two articles each having one video. Downloading two smaller files is typically better than downloading one large file.
If that still doesn't work, you can share the folio with [email protected] and I'll be glad to take a look.

  • Error downloading webplayer....

    Goodmorning,
Long time since i posted a question. Still dissapointed about
    EOL of Adobe...
I have a question about a message 'Error downloading
    webplayer'.
We have created a course, consisting of about ten modules.
The course runs under a LMS (SCORM),
on a local intranet. Users dont have the rights to install
player/programs, so the IT department made sure
every PC has the Player. To prevent an external check for the
player I put the following line into the AAM file.
    https://www.???.com/corporate/pci/portal_nl/images/webplr08complete_tcm6-41882.inf
    This works fine....
Now another company tried to start the training (full access
to our intranet). They keep receiving the message 'Error
    downloading webplayer'.
Strange, because the webplayer is installed corectly (after
10 seconds, the training starts and all communication between lms
    and module works perfect).
What causes this alert? Why does the module wants to download
the player? Can i pass the check for the player completly? In the
near future a third company will use the training. They dont have
    access to our intranet. Solution?
