Trying to upload to 8.1.3 and stops at a picture of a power lead going into an itunes logo? I cannot get beyond this - any ideas?
Can anyone help? I now cannot even open the ipad as it doesn't go beyond this logo.
The image means that the iPad has gone into recovery mode, it needs to be reset by connecting it to a computer's iTunes.
When you connect the iPad to your computer, does your computer's iTunes not recognise that an iPad in recovery mode has been connected to it ? That should let you reset the iPad back to factory defaults, and you can then restore to your backup or just resync your content to it.
If your computer's iTunes isn't recognising the iPad then you have an up-to-date version of iTunes installed ? These troubleshooting pages for a device not recognised in iTunes might help :

I have an old work e mail address that was a primary apple id. The App Store uses this as a default. I have created a new apple ID and changed this in the settings but the App Store still defaults to the old address. How can I get change this as I cannot update anything at this stage. I cannot create a new password against the ole apple ID as the e mail is no longer valid, old work e mail
Hi tried the various options but ended up deleting the apps associated with the old Appleid and then accessing them from the App Store and reloading. They automatically asked for the new Appleid and password.

I needed to restart my computer from scratch (system restore to the beginning) and lost everything including Firefox and am now

So I saw that my software needed to be updated, so I did it over wifi, then a picture with the plug being inserted into the iTunes logo appears on the screen when finished the install. I plug my iPad 2 into the connector and iTunes sees the iPad 2 connected. Then a window opens that says to restore to use iTunes. I click restore and a second message appears stating something to the effect "Are you sure you want to restore to factory setting all info will be lost."
NO I don't want to loose everything.
My iPad only powers on with the image of a cord pugging into the iTunes logo. I can't get past it and I don't want to restore the iPad 2 to factory settings.
What do I do?
Any help would be appreciated.

When I plug my Ipod into my computer it shows all my songs on it as reloading onto the device,
and sometimes it can't locate the files or they are just gone. All my songs are in my Itunes library
on my computer, and I do have it in my settings not sync the Ipod with my computer so I can
manage the content myself. It has happened multiple times.
I have cleared my Ipod off as well as my computer, and put all the music back on without seeing
any improvement. And as of today when I tried again it shows some songs on there but with 3 copies
of the same song trying to upload onto my ipod. And have of my playlist where empty. I am getting

I am trying to upload photos from my iPhone to my macbook but each time I plug my iPhone into the macbook, a message comes up which says my device is locked with a passcode and I cannot load the photos. When I plug my phone in, it is on the home screen and unlocked so I don't understand what I am doing wrong. This has never occurred before. Please help.

I am trying to record a meditation from my Macbook Air and an annoying loud sound, like a burp, will suddenly erupt from the MacBook, necessitating I start again. Any ideas on how I may stop this, or what it is??

Do a backup, preferable 2 separate ones on 2 drives. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Reformat the drive using Disk Utility/Erase Mac OS Extended (Journaled), then click the Option button and select GUID. Then re-install the OS.

I am trying to open iTunes on my Windows 7 PC and am getting the following message...the itunes library can not be found or created. The default location for this file is in the "iTunes" folder in the "Music" folder. Any ideas?
Let's try this first. Hold down the Shift key while you try to launch iTunes. You should eventually see the following dialog:
Click "Choose library". Browse to inside the following location (depending on what operating system you're running):

I have a problem with my iPhone 4s. An Apple rep looked at the phone tonight and determined I will need a new phone. I am now trying to back up my data to iTunes but I cannot get the phone to turn on. I have it plugged into my computer monitor but it just slowly flashes the Apple symbol. Any ideas on how I can get it to power up for the backup?
Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

my ipad 2 3G crashed while playing an HD movie on iOS 7.1, then it enter into recovery mode, i tried itunes restore and it fails showing unknown error (27), i retried for about 100 times with no benefit.... any ideas or help please???
