Trying to use Zoom Q2HD in USB MIC mode and it crashes GarageBand and the whole Ipad?
I bought the Zoom Q2HD video recorder to use for video and because it can be used at a USB Mic for iPad. I recently bought a camera connection kit and last night tried to get the Zoom to work as a mic but it would either not work at all or it would crash GarageBand and the ipad and take me to the Apple logo as it restarted the iPad.
Any ideas?

i just tried to use my iphone as modem for my laptop but once i select the iphone at my network connections it ask me for my password, does anybody knows if that information is either my iphone serial number, fcc id, IC, etc
If you are trying to connect via wifi to our iPhone then the password should be displayed on your phone when you go into Personal Hotspot, by default it is a random password set by the phone but you can change it there.

plugged in brand new ipad that is still showing the 'itunes' and usb lead as a sign to connect to itunes before it will even start up and my computer is detecting the Apple IPAD 2 camera but Itunes is not picking it up? whats going wrong?
If you're really trying to use Windows 2000, then that's the problem. As you'll see on the box, you need at least XP/SP3.

I tried to install yosemite yesterday and my computer goes through the whole installation process and then to a blank white screen. I've rebooted, I've reinstalled several times and get the same result. Two days wasted and I can't use my computer!!
I don't know if you've already resolved your problem, but I had the same thing, it took me 6 hours to fix it. I had the exact same as you, installed the update and then it went to a white screen. After trying start up holding down cmmd r or holding down the alt key to try to install it again, nothing worked, same result every time. Then an angel came to me here somewhere but I can't find it now to thank him. Start in safe mode, press shift once you hear the start up chime and hold it down until you hear it again. Installation completion box came up and it was working. turn off computer and start up again normally and all is well. Except my final cut pro x doesn't work with it, have to update that now too. same as when I updated to mavericks.

Having problems installing Canon MG3170. Anyone have any solutions? Here is what I have tried:-
-Installed from provided Canon disk, firstly with wireless connection, then using USB connection. Printer could not be added because the Macbook returns that the software is not available from Apple for both types of connections.
-Uninstalled software from the Canon disk, checked for software updates, then downloaded drivers (printer and scanner) from Canon Website. Again tried to install using wireless connection then USB connecton. Printer could not be added because Macbook returns that the software is not available from Apple
-Uninstalled drivers downloaded direct from Canon Website and plugged printer into Macbook using USB, Macbook recognised the printer and searched for the software, again Macbook returns that hte software is not available from Apple.

Sorry it took me a while to repsond, Ive been pretty busy with school and work. But for my hard drive problem, I did hours and hours of more research and trying countless ways of installing and tweaking things in my laptop and absolutely nothing worked that I could do. It was very irritating because I felt like I was so close to fixing it and I was just missing a step somewhere. Though It still boggles me why the disk utility shows a different capacity for the HD's. One thing I'm going to try next is replacing the hard drive cable that goes from the internal HD to the macbook. I read somewhere that sometimes those can go bad over time, and also if you get a new, modern hard drive, sometimes the old cable (for some odd reason) might not be compatible with the new HD. So i want to test it out for myself to see it that is the actual culprit.

Have you made any progress on your hard drive at all? If worst comes worst for you, you can probably get a SATA to USB cable and try to reformat it that way (this is the way that worked for me, but the only problem was it wouldn't be recognized when I installed it internally. Thats why i want to try getting the new cable), and if it still wont recognize it after that, you can just leave it outside of your mac, and just boot from that. The only thing that ***** about that is you have this big hard drive handing off the side of your mac when ever you need to use it.

Trying to use a P1102w both USB and wireless
I am running two desktop computers. #1 is Windows XP, quite old, with no network connection anymore. When I first got my P1102w, it was setup using this computer and the USB connection. #2 computer is Windows 7 64-bit, with wireless capability. Up to that point, my router was set up to be unsecured, no password. With the new Windows 7 online, I decided to be careful, and so I secured the router with a password. At that point, I lost the wireless capability for the P1102, seemingly because I couldn't figure out how to teach it to enter the password. It still works fine for the USB/XP connection. I just lost a Canon Pixma ip90v printer due to old age and apparent hardware failure. I have a new Canon Pixma ip110, which has wireless capability. I decided to get the router access straightened out before trying to hook up another wireless printer.
The fact that my USB connection comes from a computer with no networking might make it hard to setup the P1102 for wireless. Should I move my USB to the Windows 7 machine to get the network and printer all setup, and them move the USB back to the XP so that I can print from there? I also have a laptop that I would like to use via wireless with both the printers, if I can get it all setup the way I want.

I see that you are having issues setting up the printer again over the network with encryption. I will certainly do my best to help you.
I would reset the printer first to clear out any previous network settings.
Turn the printer off, hold down the wireless button and cancel (x button) while turning the printer back on and don't release the two buttons until the printer stops making noise.
Print out a configuration report and make sure the SSID and IP address are cleared.
Printing a Configuration Page.
Connect the USB cable from the printer to the Windows 7 computer.
Then run the Wireless configuration to setup the printer on the network again.
Go to Start, All Programs, HP, HP Laserjet P1102w, then select Wireless Configuration.
Run through the steps to configure the wireless.
Then disconnect the USB cable.
Test the printer on the wireless network.
For the Laptop, just run the Add Printer Wizard from Devices and Printers. You will need the CD or you can just connect the printer to the Laptop and the automatic Smart Install will load and install the printer.
