TS1071 I keep having Keynote quit on me on iPad (newest variant) -why and how do I fix it?

I'm trying keynote for the first time. I imported a PowerPoint slide presentation. Text was wrongly oriented in some boxes and the programme unexpectedly quits as I try to work on the slides or set transitions or just view the slide show. Any thoughts?

I've had a lot of luck importing Powerpoint files, but have noticed that importing current version powerpoints (files with suffix pptx) can prove impossible and cause problems. Try saving the Powerpoint in the older *.PPT format in Windows and then import. Remember that not all fonts and some special formatting may not translate perfectly. Also, any hyper links (except to other slides in the show), linked video and audio, and embedded audio/video will not be kept after important. You'll need to re-embed them in Keynote. I hope that this helps.

Both Apple and Microsoft like to hid thing one users. They think it for your own protection. They want us to use their OS with blinders on while they operate under the covers. Blinders just make important thing hard to deal with. I have not use an Mac in over ten years only have an iPod for IMO he is no better MP3 player and it 3:2 high resolution display is great for showing snapshots.
The first thing I do whenever I get a new Windows machine is to remove Microsoft Blinders. If you us windows use its control Panel or File Explored Folder option and set the view options so you're not blinded. You will be able to find file like your Photoshop Preferences ads Action Palette preferences. Mac will also have some options the let finder do its job. Windows:

My iPad quits when I'm browsing in the apple store, why and how can I fix it!

Whenever I'm browsing the iTunes store, iTunes quits. Also if I'm watching Amazon instant video, the show will stop every 5-8 minutes and I have to restart it! Frustrating to say the least! I know it's an older iPad but everything else seems to wok ok. Suggestions are welcomed. BTW, I already resett the whole iPad and redownloaded all it's content!

Hi. I'm using WiFi. Have no other programs running and no other computers/phone/gadgets connected to it. The iPad doesn't crash, just the app (either iTunes or amazon instant video stop running). That does not happen when I use the MacBook. I have deleted both and reinstalled both. I have also reset the iPad to original factory settings and I have held down both, the home and off button together until the apple appears!! Nothing works!! BTW, the APP store app also closes all the time and thinking about so does iBooks and the Kindle app!!

Try this:
With Safari open type command + option + E - all three keys together.
Next go to Safari in the menu bar, and select Reset Safari,

When I open another window the cursor defaults to the bottom of the page instead of the top why and how can I fix it? It is a pain to have to keep scrolling to the top all the time. This does not happen with Chrome or IE.

I have noticed that the emails sent out of S1 always default to the end
of the message so we need to scroll up to edit what we've written. Most

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect to this network OK?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Unless I am wrong, ErinW_VZW, the upgrade for advanced calling is NOT an app - it is a system update and therefore cannot be uninstalled. Kinda scary that you do not know this.
LLATOO - My advice to you is to perform a factory reset. Look under System Settings -> Backup and Reset -> Factory Data Reset. This will obviously delete your entire phone so backup what you need.
