Open Computer from the Start menu.
From the Organize menu, choose Folder and Search Options.
Click the View tab.
In the "Advanced settings" pane under "Hidden files and folders," make sure that the "Show hidden files and folders" option is selected.
Click OK.
Navigate to the following location by either typing it into the address bar, copying and pasting it into the address bar, or clicking through the folder hierarchy listed:C:\ProgramData\Apple Computer\iTunes
Right-click the SC Info folder shown and on the shortcut menu, choose Delete.
Restart the computer.

This is a tedious solution, which is stupid! And some users report an inability to reauthorize a computer after an "en masse” deauthorization. I can’t believe Apple doesn’t provide a list or menu to find out which computers you’ve authorized! Obviously, APPLE knows (or else they couldn’t tell us how many computers we have authorized)--so why can’t they give us access to that information about our own computers??!!!
And for an already-authorized computer with a hard drive that’s since been replaced and upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite, would it be recognized as a “new computer” and require authorization? Would its previous incarnation (i.e., with the old hard drive and OS) be considered a separate computer? Some users report they can’t authorize a computer after an OS upgrade because of that. Can’t believe we have to do such a bass-ackwards kludge!

ITunes won't let me start my computer.

I can download iTunes fine, and it runs perfectly so I turn off my PC. When I go to turn it back on it won't start. So I run a diagnosis to figure out what program is keeping it from running. After several minutes it tells me that it has erased whatever was keeping it from running. When I restart my computer iTunes is gone and I can't use any of my music. I need iTunes for my Apple products but I can't keep it on my PC because it won't let me run my computer. I don't know what to do.

it sounds like it is a problem with a particular app or song which has been purchased/transferred.

go into view your account(Store->View Account)
in that screen after you type in your password go to where it says authorizations and to the right you should see, deauthorize all, click that.
after that you just need to authorize the computers you are currently using(Store->Authorize this computer)
that should do it
When I'm saying Store, I mean at the top menu where it says File-Edit-View-Control-Store

While I was living in Germany I bought a lot of music from the German MusicStore. Now I am back in the USA but I had to reload my OS and now I can't play any of the music I purchased in Germany. I only have 3 computers authorized and I'm trying to authorize a 4th computer. Every time I try to authorize the 4th computer it tells me I already have 5 computers authorized. I'm running Windows 8.1 and ITunes version 11.3. I originally had 5 computers authorized but I deauthorized 2 of them to try to get my new computer authorized. When I go to my account in ITunes it only shows that 3 computers are authorized but it keeps telling me I have 5 computer authorize when I try to authorize my new computer. HELP!

ITunes won't let me drag and drop music

I have converted files from YouTube to mp3 and then put them in my iTunes library... but iTunes won't let me put them into my phone. I have manually manage music selected and it has allowed me to do so in the past (maybe 2 weeks ago). I'm just really frustrated now because I don't like syncing my entire library because iTunes somehow manages to forget the majority of my music's artwork which is important since I paid for all but 3 of the songs in my library. Help?

Also, you may have to do this since the iPod may think the rebuilt computer is a new computer/iTunes library. Otherwise, you will only be able to manage videos and music manually.
