My ipod touch is locked screen says ipod is disabled connect to itunes so how do i fix it

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help

i have a passcode on my ipod touch 4th generation and it says disabled connect to itunes, but when i connect to itunes it come up to insert the passcode on the ipod before i can do anything with it through itunes. i tried turning it on and off but that didn't do anything and i held in on the hold button and the home button the same time to reset it or whatever that does cause i seen it on google, but that didn't do anything either. please help

my son got an ipad. it was never connected to my computer. he made a 4 digit password to lock and unlock. but when he changed the 4 digit number, after so many times of putting wrong number in, the screen on ipad says Ipad is disabled, connect to itunes. so I connected to my computer, it NOW SAYS on computer after I plug in, Itunes cannot connect to the ipad because the ipad is locked. you must enter your passcode on the ipad to connect to itunes....

I changed my password, and without knowing it, I typed the wrong numbers, and now I don't know my password. I've tried to connect to iTunes, but it doesn't seem to work. It only brings up the USB cable needs to be connected to iTunes on my iPod screen. Does anyone know how to fix this, because it's frustrating.

Gray pages running Adobe Reader on a MAC
