TS1292 I have a new macbook pro bought around a month ago so either the end of June or the beginning of July I know I should have a free upgrade to Snow Lion how do I get it

I should have a free upgrade to Snow Lion since the Macbookpro is around a month old now I have tried to upgrade to Snow Lion from the App store but it wants me to buy it . How do I get the free upgrade?

iWork! But Office 2008 or 2011 will run fine on Lion
Lion is awesome, and if you purchased your MacBook Pro since June 6th, go here to get a free copy> http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/
The bugs are few and far apart
