TS1292 I purchased a new  iTunes card and it said that it was already redeemed - how it's just new.

I purchased a new  iTunes card and it said that it was already redeemed.
This was bought brand new from a local shop. 
How can we fix this so that we can redeem it?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
