TS1292 security code on credit card will not process

why will my credit card not prosses with the security code I am entering? I have already called the card company.

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then, as you've already contacted your card company, try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    The address on the billing statement from the credit card company must match the information that you have filled in on the fields in iTunes when you set up the account. In other words you cannot abbreviate in iTunes if the information for you billing address is not abbreviated on the statement that you get in the mail. If the statement lists your street as "Street" and you type in "St." - that can cause issues. If that's not the problem, sign out of your ID, restart the iPad and sign in again.
    Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again.

    I go to update apps or down load them, I am asked for the security code from my credit card. When I type it in it tells me it is involid, I have used this same card before and have had no problems.

    If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.

  • Updated to iso7 and now credit card will not work with itunes account. What is going on?

    When I updated to iso7 my credit card information for my iTunes account is no longer valid. Tried to update my credit card information and it will not allow my current and valid credit card to be used and will not accept any of my other valid credit cards to be used.
    What is going on? Am I missing something or is apple hijacking my paid for accounts again?

    There is most likely an error in the card information stored with your Apple ID. Go to this Apple support page and click on the link to manage your Apple ID.

    Check your payment info very carefully to make sure all info is entered correctly including the exact match between what you have entered for your billing address and the address that shows on. Your credit card statement.

    I've recently gotten a new laptop and replaced my damaged iphone. Apparently these 2 scenarios qualify as "new devices". This is fine but I also had lost my credit card previously that was connected to my iTunes account, and got a new one with all different numbers. When I try to change my billing information to this new card it won't let me because it says
    "Your account has been accessed from a new device, and you must verify your payment information before you can make purchases."
    and it asks for the security code of the card I had lost and replaced! I am not able to change my billing info to my new card thus because I can't get past this.

    Look, I understand I still need a card attached to the account. The problem is, it won't accept my card because I only have 87 cents in my bank account right now.
    If I had known there would be so much trouble with the iTunes card, I would have just put the cash in my bank account in the morning instead of buying an iTunes card (I didn't expect the banks to be open on Thanksgiving of course).
    Apple will only accept cards that have a balance. The balance is so small in my account that it won't accept it as a valid card.
    I'm going to have to contact Apple anyway to reset the security questions. That's obvious. Your answers were not exactly helpful. You didn't tell me anything I don't already know, but thanks for trying to be helpful.
