TS1292 the code on the card came of and i cant read the code.

as i was scratching the label hiding the code a few numbers or letters came off with it.

Try these 3 possible solutions:
1. Restart iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, hold down the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
2. Close inactive Apps
Double-click the Home button; hold Apps down (in the Task Bar) for a second or two until you see the minus sign. Tap and close all inactive Apps.
3. Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the red slider.

Why is there a grey block on the bottom of my screen in safari and i cant see the top of my screen in full screen mode?

When I put the window into full screen mode a gray block appears across the bottom of the screen. Thus the top of any given web page is truncated upward and I cannot access anything...But if I minimize the view what was once unavailable reappears.
Is there a way to get rid of this gray block?

Provide computer and OS version info and maybe we can help. Phone and iOS stuff tells us nothing useful.

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone.

Hey guys, Heres one for you tech guys. It was a false alarm on my password issue. Somehow or another i was going to discuss this issue with this or some other forum. Now ,i aint no hi-tech redneck but i aint stupid either, maybe a little dumb ,but hey. I got to the point where i had to sign in for this disscusion and i thought,CRAP, I cant sign in,i dont know my password. Mind You, I have been dealin with this for a couple of hours and i thought well, 1 more time, it might as well have been 52 times but, it went thru. Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

If your iTunes Store account is for another country, you can't redeem a card from another country even if you are currently present in that country. You would need to either move your existing account to the Netherlands or set up a new account in the Dutch iTunes Store, either of which would require you to also have a valid Dutch mailing address. Unless you're going to be in the Netherlands for quite a while, I would suggest you just give or sell that iTunes card to someone who lives in the Netherlands.

If you've gone through all that and it's the right kind of SD card, right naming convention etc. try giving your iPad a reset. Sometimes that port gets turned off (for lack of a better term) and a reset turns it back on. Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
If it still doesn't work, if you have access to another iPad try the reader on that. THere are some defective ones out there. If it works on another iPad then there's something going on with yours. If it doesn't work on another iPad then you may want to take that reader back and exchange it because it may be bad.

HT4106 I just bought the lightning to SD card camera reader and it worked with the photos but didn't find the videos on the same SD card.

The cable only imported the photos and doesn't read the videos. Am I not seeing something on my iPad mini?

Do those videos follow the naming convention? To be seen all files must have the 8 character name, for example VID_4854.mp4
If they don't follow the naming convention they won't be seen. They also need to be a format that the iPad will play.

I do NOT like using my credit card if I don't have to, and I went out of my way to go buy an Apple gift card, which I successfully redeemed into my Apple account. However, when I use the Apple "Cards" app, it will not let me use anything other than my credit card. I tried purchasing a card, hopefulling it would come out of my Apple store balance, but no such luck -- it came out of my credit card.
Apple is becoming more like Microsoft every day.
