I HAVE BOUGHT TWO CARDS THAT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO REDEEM THEM
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

SILLY TO HAVE NO PHONE NUMBER
THIS MUST BE A COMMON PROBLEM THAT NEEDS FIXING!!!!!!!!!!
WHO ELSE HAS HAD PROBLEM AND WAS IT RESOLVED?
ANY SHORTCUT I CAN TAKE OTHER THAN EMAIL?

Were the cards bought in the same country that your iTunes account is based ? Have you contacted iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ ? These are user-to-user to forums, so if you have only posted here then Apple won't be aware.
(For future info, typing all in capitals is considered SHOUTING and you are less likely to help/replies.)

    Have you checked the account's purchase history to see if anything could have used up the balance : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store - Apple Support ?
    If there aren't any purchases then try logging out and back into the account (e.g. on your iPad tap on your id in Settings > Stores and then log back in) and see if a balance then shows on it. My account's balance shows at the top right of the store's page on my computer's iTunes, by clicking on my name towards the top right of the iTunes screen, and by logging in to view my account via the Store > View Account menu option. On my iPad devices it shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > Stores and it should show on the screen that you are taken to)

    Has anybody successfully logged an online support request for an itunes card that hasn't been activated properly? I tried the camera to read it but still no good. Get the error about it not being activated properly so i tried to log an online support ticket twice on two seperate days but get another error saying sorry we can't process this request now try later. Very frustrated, my son has a $20 voucher from Christmas he can' t use.

    You will probably be asked to email pictures or scans of the card
    and its code so be prepared to do this.
    I had an iTunes card that was not activated at point of sale and
    was able to get it resolved. I did have the receipt however. I do
    not know if your lack of receipt will be fatal to the process, but you
    will be no worse off if you try and you may even get your card
    activated/replaced.

    On itunes open the store tab and click manage accout, once your in there should be a settings tab called devices, remove the old computer and then try to authorize yours under the store tab in itunes.

    I am pretty sure it will always use the credit card unless payment method is set to none.
    That has been my experience anyway.
    They already have the money from the gift card so would rather collect from your credit card.

    the last version of Mac OS X which supported running PowerPC apps on Intel Macs was Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). If you’d like to play this PowerPC game on your Intel MacBook Pro, then you’ll need to install Snow Leopard on it and boot into Snow Leopard. (Note that the last MacBook Pro which natively supported Snow Leopard was the Early 2011 model.)
    The game was almost certainly published before Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) was released, so back then, all versions of “Mac OS X 10.3 or higher” would have supported running that PowerPC game.

    It's highly unlikely that your Mac has a virus, since no virus, worm or trojan has been reported, much less confirmed, as having the behavior you mention. As LB suggested, most likely it's your email account itself that has been compromised, or some other computer (a Windows system, almost certainly) that has your addresses on it has been infected.
    Check the "sent" folder for your email account and see if the bogus messages are shown there. If they are, that at least would verify that the emails were sent via your email account. Report back and let us know whether your email account is POP, IMAP or Exchange, and who your email host is.
    If the messages are not shown anywhere in your "sent mail" folder, then someone has almost certainly gotten hold of your contact list and spoofed your email address.

    You could try to redeem it. If you have serial number and activation code, then you can contact itunes support to redeem it, if it has not been redeemed.

    Most of the people on these forums, including myself, are fellow users - you're not talking to iTunes Support here. I've asked the hosts to change the title of your post as it appears to include the card number.
    You've tried logging out and back into your account to see if the amount from it has been added to your account ? If it isn't then was the card complete when you bought it i.e. the part that you scratch off to uncover the code was still on the card ? If it was, and you've double-checked that you are entering the correct code, then try contacting iTunes Support (they might want images of the card and the receipt) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes
