I'm trying to redeem a itune card that i got as a gift but the card was purchase in switzerland but i keep getting this message:
your itunes store (us) does not match of the gift certificate (swiss) i know is a swiss card but i though you could use itunes card everywhere in the world.
can someone help?

You can't redeem that certificate in another country's store. You also can't change the iTunes Store country with an unspent balance.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

"Your iTuens store ([?]) does not match that of the gift certificate ([?])". I seen on another post that I need to change my region. I did that and still get the same error. Any help is much appreciated.

If you have a US iTunes account, you cannot use a gift card
from Mexico in that US account. Additionally, you are supposed
to be in the US when using your US account.

I got a gift card from Germany and live in Switzerland. Apple support recommends to give it away to somebody living in Germany or so... Not very helpfull !
In internet there are some blogs how to install an account in a foreign country, but you have to indicate a fake address inside of that country... Not so cute !
Any other possibilities around?...

Sorry, but whether or not you think that suggestion helpful, it's all you can do. As RG said, iTunes cards are country-specific. A German iTunes card can be used only in the German iTunes Store, and you cannot use the German iTunes Store from Switzerland.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get rid of the message 'Could not use the history eraser because the current canvas size does not match that of the history state'?. It comes up if I hit the alt/option key while I have the eraser selected. Something I do by accident all the time.

The way you've described it, one gets the distinct impression you do not have a clue as to what the history brush does and how to use it.
You need to read up on it. Read the Help files and google for tutorials.
First you need to create an image (with actual pixels in it), edit it as desired, then make a snapshot of the edited image, then target the snapshot with the history brush tool, then go back in the History panel to the step before your edits and selectively paint your edits in with the History Brush.

It sounds like you have two Apple ID’s and that is ok. Start with taking a look at the article below to go through and know how to use multiple Apple ID’s. You will need to make the decision to use one or the other if that is the case when it deals with your purchases. ITunes Store app does not open

ITunes Store app does not open on my iPhone.

Go to your music app (not iTunes) click on songs then click on the store button in the left corner and it should take you to iTunes. Then try going back into iTunes thru the iTunes app again.

TS3297 Every time I open iTunes to listen to music, not access the iTunes Store, I get the password sign in box, over and over again. When I try to access the iTunes Store it does not except my password. This has happened since the last update.

As for VirusScan, Barney is right on the money that it does not come preinstalled on any Mac shipped new from Apple. However you have gotten it, your best bet is removing it.
