I am holidaying in Auckland using my daughter's Orcon internet account for sending mail but it will not send. I am sure I am putting in the correct information but it still says mail.orcon.net.nz(Offline). I have spent half an hour with Orcon putting in correct info. They do not know how to help me further and neither does telstra clear, my own internet provider.
Any advice appreciated.
On the Mail menubar > Mailbox, make sure Take all accounts online is selected.

The app you are trying to download my be a zipped file and more space than 1.3GB. go to settings/general/usage and delete what you no longer want to make more space

You'll have to delete more data from the device.
Go to Settings>General>Usage to see how much "Storage" you have available on the device. (Ignore storage on icloud, since that is not part of the equation.) -

I recently purchased the iPhone 5 and my itunes account on my iMac 7,1 will not recognize it as a device. My imac has stopped downloading new updates, it says it is up to date with iTunes 9.2.1. My imac will not run the newest 10.7 itunes either. All I want to do is put my music from itunes on my computer to my new phone. HELP please!!
i called apple and they are sending me snow leopard so i should, *fingers crossed, be able to run the newer version of itunes. we'll find out for sure in a few days when it arrives

I changed my password on Hotmail [Outlook] but my iphone continually asks me to re enter the password as it is not correct, I deleted the account and re-entered all information but it still keeps saying password is incorrect - sometimes message do come through without a problem but then it starts again saying password incorrect
It's not a problem with the phone. The phone doesn't care what our password is. The serve is rejecting your password, not the phone. Talk to your email provider.

i have tried to put it in many times and even tried to use one of my own cards for her but it is still not working.. does anyone know if there is a temp blip wrong with the card system at the moment or can anyone help? thanks!
Thank you! It's sorted now. Called the bank this morning and they explained that sometimes places like iTunes take a small deposit from your bank account when you sign up but my sister had no cash on her card at that time so this was the case. We ended up using my moms card and my sister will change it over once she gets some cash on her account. :)

Can you please provide some specifics about the problem you're encountering? Do you get an error message, or does the file conversion process never complete? Is the problem specific to one file, or occur with every file you try to convert?

apple ID does not allow me to change primary listed email address, this address does no longer exist and now need to get a secendary listed email address to become primery.
I had a similar problem, which prevented me changing my personal data on iCloud/apple etc. I found the answer on the apple web-site, "appleid.apple.com".
This site lets you change your primary country, and so lets you use the app store. -

Within this commonfiles\apple folder, there is only one folder, labeled "Internet Services." Within this folder, there are 6 folders, labeled:
APLZOD.resources
BookmarkDAV_client.resources
CoreDAV.resources
iCloud.resources
iCloudServices.resources
ShellStreams.resources
Within all but CoreDAV and BookmarkDAV_client, there are multiple different folders, all labeled starting with a two letter (acronym I believe, for different languages) then .lproj (for example, a folder is labeled "ar.lproj".
In each of the folders of APLZOD.resources, there is a file labeled "APLZODlocalized.dll."
In all of the folders containing the multiple .lproj folders, there are likewise "name"localized.dll files contained.
In the BookmarkDAV_client and Core DAV folders, they each contain only one file, "Info.plist"
I attempted to delete all of these files, and still, the FileAssassin could not delete them. I unlocked one of them for instance, and I tried to delete the file myself (thru windows explorer and just clicking delete), and I still had the same issue of coming eventually to the window requesting me to "try again" to have permission.
What can I do?? I'd like to avoid Unlocker, but if it really is a reliable and SAFE program, and someone knows a SAFE place to download it from, I'd appreciate it very much so!!

TextEdit is not working. I have tried repairing and I have tried reinstalling but it still says "You can't open the application TextEdit.app because it may be damaged or incomplete."

And reinstalled just textEdit but no luck, then I deleted TextEdit and reinstalled it again and I was still getting the same message. Tried pacifist this morning again but this time I tried reinstalling the whole apps package half way through its says it cant reinstall due to multiple missing files.
Tried the repair option on the OS disc it says everything is fine -
I have an iphone 5s and updated it to the new 7.1 software. A day later I go and use my phone and in the top left hand corner it says no service. i have tried restoring the pone, resetting the network settings and also a hard reset as well. It gains service for a short amount of time but then it loses service. Everyone else on my plan has service and their phones are completely normal but they never did the update... what can i do to fix this problem?
Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file, or maybe it's one of your apps causing the trouble. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

Hi, my trial version of Lightroom 5 has recently expired and I have now fully bought it. I have uploaded the CD onto my Mac, but when I open the Lightroom application again, it still says the trial has expired. Does anybody know how I can update it so I can finally use it again? Joanne please remove your current installation of Photoshop Lightroom using the uninstallers located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.
You will then want to download Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1 from Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh. The update contains the entire application. Photoshop Lightroom can not be installed through the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application and still be licensed with a serial number.
