Will I loose my pictures if I reset my iPad?

    What kind of reset?
Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple and let it reboot. That kind of reset, your data is not in danger.
But if you go into the settings, general and those reset options can wipe your data. Reset network settings means you'll need to reconnect to all your networks. And restoring to factory defaults is just that. Wiping it to out of box state. You can use your last iTunes backup to restore the data, but only what was on your iPad when you last backed it up.

  • What will happen to my pictures if I delete my I cloud account? Will they still be on my phone?

What will happen to my pictures if I delete my iCloud account on my phone? Will they still be under the camera on my phone? I can't remember my user name or password :(

    Welcome to the Apple community.
If you delete your iCloud account, you will also turn off photo stream and lose any photos that you had in photo stream, which may include photos from another device. However you will not lose any photos in your camera roll.
If all you have done is forgotten your password why not use the Apple site iForgot.com

    thanks

You can't use icloud to store photos.  There's a service called photo stream which is used to sync photos from one device to another, but this can't be used to store photos permanently.
Always sync photos from a device to your computer,  Then you can delete them from the device.

I have duplicate pictures in my camera roll and photo stream. If I turn off photo stream will I loose pictures in both areas?

If you turn off Photo Stream, all photos in Photo Stream only, will be removed from your device.

  • If I upgrade to ios 7 right from my device (not itunes) will I loose my pictures, apps and info

If I upgrade to ios 7 right from my iphone (not through itunes) will my pictures, apps and other info get automatically erased?

It shouldn't, but you should update your iPhone's backup immediately beforehand.
And a good idea to import the photos/videos in the Camera Roll with your computer beforehand to be on the safe side.

  • I had to change my hard drive, now i'v tried to reinstall itunes, it is saying i have to restore my ipod touch to factory settings, will i loose all my films by doing this, as now my ipod wont work anyway unless i restore ?

I had to change my hard drive, now i'v tried to reinstall itunes it says i have to restore my iopd touch to factory settings and will loose my files. I have a few films on there and they show up on my purchases. If i restore, will i be able to get my films back ? as at the moment my ipod wont work now untill i restore anyway.

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your device manually before syncing, you can restore from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
    Here's how to:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your ipod to your computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your device for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.

anyone help please my phone woint stop telling me everything sice pressing a button for voice on a translator app. the screen will not scroll. I have sync the phone deleted the app on the lap top but it wont let me delete it on the screen because its frozen. I have taken out the sim card.. I have turned it off now Im stuck.. Im in a small village in Spain and cannot get to an Appke store to get it fixed yet. Any ideas?

Plug your phone into the wall charger for at least 30 minutes...make sure you have a sim card in the phone...then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off.

  • TS4020 If I delete an account will I loose my photos related to that account?

I have the wrong account listed in iCloud and was wondering if I delete the account will I loose my pictures related to that account?

If you mean photos in Photo Stream, yes, unless you save them first.  You can save photo stream photos to your camera roll by opening each photo in your photo stream album, taping the arrow on the bottom left, then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  Alternatively, you can use an app like PhotoSync to wirelessly transfer your photo stream (and camera roll) photos all at once to your computer.  Once there, you can then use PhotoSync to transfer them back from your computer to the camera roll on your iPad.  (iTunes will only transfer camera roll photos.)
Also, you can migrate your other data to your new account if you wish.  To do so, go to Settings>iCloud, then turn all synced data (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off.  When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPad.  After everything is off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.  Then set up your new account and turn data syncing back to On.  When prompted, choose Merge.  This will upload your data to the new account.

  • SharePoint Picture Libraries How to Remove Folder

    Dear MS Partner Support,
I can't seem to delete this folder from this picture library any help would be appreciated...please see attachment below:
    Alex Samol

You can modify the "All Pictures" view by setting it's style to "Basic Table", then add the "Name (linked to document with edit menu) field. Then you get the context menu to delete the folder. Alternatively, you can create a new view with these settings.

  • I am thinking of updating to the newest version for my Mac Laptop. I have the 10.6.8 should I update to the Mountain Lion OS X? If I update will I loose all my data, like documents, music, pictures?

Wondering if I should update my Mac Notebook which is a 10.6.8 versions to the newest Mountain Lion version? What are the positive and negatives about the new version? Also if I update will I loose all the date on my computer like documents, music, pictures etc..?

First check the Compatibility of your Mac...
    Upgrade to Mountain Lion
Then... Before attempting any Major Upgrade... get yourself an External Hard Drive... and create a Bootable Clone Backup of your current Hard Drive...
By far the easiest way to make such a Backup, is to use something like
    SuperDuper  http://www.shirt-pocket.com/
    or CCC  http://www.bombich.com/
That way, should anything untoward happen during the Upgrade,
    you will NOT LOSE ANYTHING.
(Get an EHD that is at least equal to your current Drive...)
Also, Check here for compatibility of 3rd party Software you may be using...
