TS1363 After latest update of itunes was installed none of my devices will sync.

When I attach any of my devices (iphone 4S, iPad2, iPod2) using the USB cable a message apears saying 'Installing Driver Software,' then moments later another message appears saying 'Installation Failed.'
Has anyone else had this problem and if so do you know the solution to get my devices to sync again?

Since I updated to the new OS7, none of my devices will sync to Itunes...iTunes states I need to update to version 11.1 and yet I am totally up to date to IO7.02 on all these devices (iPad, iPadMini, iPhone5). What is the solution to this?

That message is telling you to update iTunes on your computer, not your phone. You need iTunes 11.1 on your computer in order to sync your devices.

yes i am too, and have been searching this possibly useless forum forever trying to find a solution. glad to hear i'm not the only one having problem or frustrated with the fact my 2 apple products won't work together. hope an alledged "expert" will reply with a solution soon.

Ipod sync is greyed out after latest update and libary was wiped

i updated the latest update...2 weeks later opened itunes my libary was gone bar itunes purchases...
now when ipod is connected if i go to file/ devices ipod isnt there eg bla blas ipod and the sync is greyed out ..

ive since put my libary back as is stored on external hard drive and reset ipod and added libary back to ipod
but still the same as dicribed above.
now i connected my wifes iphone 4s to itunes went to file/devices hey presto itunes reconised it as eg wifes iphone

Normally a greyed out Wifi is a hardware failure, but with some of the problems I've seen with the upgrade to iOS 4 on 3G phones, I'm not convinced the problem/problems aren't related to software. I have two suggestions, neither of which are guaranteed to work: 1. Restore your phone as a "new" device in itunes & not from backup. But first delete any and all .ipsw files on your computer. This will force itunes to re-download the current OS. The .ipsw file can be found here:
OS X: ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates
XP: C:\Documents and Settingsusername\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates
7 & Vista: C:\Usersusername\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates
You may have to turn on "show all hidden files" to find them.
Once done, reboot your computer, launch itunes, connect your phone & restore as "new". When finished, DO NOT SYNC, rather eject your phone & see if all is working properly. If it is, sync your content back to your phone. If not, proceed AT YOUR OWN RISK!
2. Try and downgrade to 3.1.3 from here:

Auto size of columns is not working after latest update of itunes 8.02

columns will no longer auto resize correctly after the 8.02 update. the song title column hides song titles on request to resize very annoying please fix this Apple. any thoughts?

I just created a New List in my iTunes 8.0.2, and noticed the same Columns Width Issue, in List View and Cover Flow View:
When I Controll-clicked on any Column, and chose Auto Size All Columns, it made the Name Column width more narrow then needed to display it's full content.
I Controll-clicked on the Name Column, and chose Auto Size Column. It didn't make it wider to extend its width to the the width of the longest Name in that Playlist.
I tried different Playlists, and another Library and it was the same issue!
It did work in Music and Podcasts, but not in Videos and Audio Books. Unchecking Columns didn't help.
Repairing Permissions, and Restarting iTunes and Restarting my Powerbook G4 didn't help either...
I am sending this bug report to Apple

And while at it, please join me in asking Apple to make Lyrics Field SEARCHABLE! What an underutilized opportunity that Lyrics Field is. Since the latest update of Firefox was installed on my Windows Vista Home Premium system it appears to be crashing and sometimes plays up by not opening requested sites in new windows, tabs etc. Should I uninstall and reload Firefox??

Also when closing tabs and windows the screen appears to momentarily go a blue color. This same blue color can also be seen when Firefox appears to crash or stall. If you try to open a new tab or a new window there appears to be some hesitation before the new window opens and sometimes the new window or tab simply refuses to open-you then have to shut down Firefox and restart to improve this.

Thanks Alan I tried disabling several items so far and the situation has improved but still not as stable as I would like. Systematic approach is the key here so I'll continue with a process of elimination.

I cannot use ITV player, it says I need to turn off ad blocking - how do I do this? It only began after latest update of Firefox installed.

I have tried to watch programmes on ITV player, which I have successfully done in the past, but now it tells me it cannot find the video and that I need to turn off ad blocking on my computer. I went into options, but could not find anything about ad blocking. I added www.itv.com to the exceptions list for pop up windows, but this has not helped. The problem only began after the latest update of Firefox was installed. I have never had any problem before. How can I get ITV player back, please.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Apple's latest update to iTunes failed to install on my computer with Windows 8.1 64 bit. I have reinstalled in many times, removed Itunes via Control Pannel, etc. etc. No luck. I recently installed Mavericks. The latest update for iTunes, iBooks and Mail do not install properly. I have tried updating individually and the Appstore indicates that they're installed. However after every restart the Appstore shows that the same update is available. I checked the applications folder and clicked on the 3 apps to "Get Info" and they're all still the old versions. I've repeatedly tried to update and install and the Appstore history has shown that I've tried over and over again. Any solutions would be appreciated please!

I'm having this same issue, except Mail and iBooks are both installed, but showing as need to be updated (to same version already installed several days ago). iTunes was also doing this until I manually installed it, but the other two still won't be recognized as updated. I did a sudo softwareupdate -i -a and that failed as well. So I did a

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
