TS1363 Error message for my ipod touch, ipad and Nano. they all say the same thing " there has been a device detected, but cannot be identified properly. please disconnect and re-connect ipod properly". i have done all it asks, and still nothing help.
can anyone help me try to figure out whyall 3 of my devices jsut stopped beign acceptd on my itunes? ipod touch, nano 6th gen and ipad. none of them will be read on my itunes, yes i have uninstalled and re installed my itunes and plugged and unpluggd the devices and i have reset them numerous times. so what next?
Doublechecking. In the course of your troubleshooting to date, have you worked through the following documents?

What are the electrical specs of the car charger? The Apple wall charger is rated at 5V and 2A. If the car charger does not output 2A @5V, you'll get the not charging message. However, it will still charge, but very slowly.

I am trying to purchase an app for downloading music. I have been unsuccessful in doing this. Can you please offer info on how to do this? I have tried to also save my cc info and it continues to tell me "invalid security code", although we have used every bank card and credil card that we have. Please help. Or if you have another suggestion using iTunes to download music. I pprefer this but cannot download anything and I am VERY frustrated. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Using windows 8 - receive message "ipod detected but cannot be identified properly" when connecting ipod nano 7th gen. Have unisntalled and reinstalled itunes from apple site as advised with no luck. Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it please?

I have had itunes for years, but up until 2 months ago the quick time will not initialize to run it.
Try using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and delete the iTunes installer. Then try installing iTunes again

I Just bought a used 6th gen nano and when I plug it into the usb it says on my itunes page "an ipod has been detected but cannot be identified properly". I have already registered it. What am I doing wrong? Is it a faulty one?

When I tried to download the new version of firefox I get an error message that says "your computer must be restarted to complete an earlier upgrade" when I restart it says the same thing. I cannot use firefox at all at the moment. When I try to uninstall in the control panel, the same message pops up.
If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop
* Firefox 5.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
* Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder], so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data. -

See if placing the iPod in DFU mode will all iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore it.

Next try another computer to help determine if you have an iPod or computer problem.

Yes -that again- the reason I'm making a new post is that this is the second time an ipod hasn't worked with me, I would like to know if there's something I can do to my system or whatever to repair it. Here's the situation.
- Just so ya know, I use Vista on a laptop [unfortunatley]
- Previously [as in yesterday] I had an ipod touch, it was stuck in recovery mode and nothing [and I mean nothing] worked to recover it, it wasn't being recognized at all. This problem occured when I installed Itunes 9.
- Today I bought myself a brand new iPod Nano (5th Gen) for several reasons [not just to do with the itouch breaking, I was sick to death of the thing in general], took it home and connected it. 'A new ipod has been detected but cannot be identified' yadda yadda.
- I tried everything, I have also downgraded my itunes back to 8, still the same message!! Argh! Here's the thing (that I think might be causing the problem) when I open Device Manager and go to Universal Serial Bus Controllers, there is no apple/ipod recognized. There is a 'USB Mass Storage Device' whch has an error symbol next to it, I've tired updating/reinstalling it etc and it doesn't work ):
