If you mean that iTunes does not see your iPod:
- Did you try everything here:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
- Try another cable
- Try another computer
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

i have a new ipod nano and want to download my existing library from itens onto it. how do i get my itunes account to accept it as one of my devices?
Hey sec37help,
Thanks for the question. All you have to do is setup syncing between iTunes and your iPod. The following resource should help you get started:
iTunes 11 for Windows: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad

iTunes 11 for Mac: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad

I have the new ipod touch, but I cant press anything its touchscreen doesnt respond
I cant use my ipod because its touchscreen doesnt respond, what can I do?
If the reset does not work, try restoring the iPod. First from backup and if problem persists restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
If still problem that inidates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
I have the new iPod Touch but I'm having trouble syncing videos to my PC.
I got the iPod Touch 5. I recorded some videos and plugged my iTouch into my PC. When I try to download it, it let's me, but it can't play it. It is making me so mad. I tried on my laptop but it did the same thing. It apparently needs to know what I used to download it or make it. I tried but I can't make it work. PLEASE HELP!!!
Usually when you plug your iPod into your PC a folder should pop up. That folder holds all your photos and videos that you have taken or recorded. If you look through it enough, you can find that video you want, and drag it into the computer.
Hope this helps! -
I have a new ipod nano but at the moment I am unable to download music through itunes. I'm so disappointed. I have created an Apple ID, reviewed and inputted all of my data for my account and still get told to 'review account' because my ID has not 'been used with Itunes before. Why is this happening and why don't apple have a more intuative way of dealing with this.
Please help, I am completely frustrated. You'll either have to redeem an iTunes gift card, or create a new ID by following the directions here:

Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone can help me. I recently got my first ever Ipod. It's the new Ipod Nano 7th Generation. I have tried to synchronise it with Itunes but it says "Connected, Eject before Disconnecting" but nothing happens. I have tried uninstalling & re-installing Itunes but this didnt help.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for your help.I think the problem is that the iPod got set to Manually manage music and videos. It needs to be set up for automatic syncing again. Just unchecking that Manually manage music and videos setting does not do it.
In iTunes 12, select the iPod in iTunes (using the device button), so that you see the iPod's "management" screen. In the sidebar (along left side of screen), there are two headings (Settings and On My Device). Under Settings, click on Music. To the right, you see the iPod's Music screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.
Check the box at the top for Sync Music. That turns ON automatic syncing for music. Below that, choose the option to sync Entire music library (assuming your music library fits completely on your iPod). Otherwise, you can choose the option to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres and make your selections below. Then click Apply. -

Just bought an IPod nano 7th generation. I have a Mac computer OS X v10.5.8 with 10.6.7 iTunes player. To use the new IPod nano I need a OS X v10.6.8 or later and iTunes 10.7 or later. What are my options to upgrade the Mac?
Thanks to your feedback.Click here, check that your computer meets the requirements, purchase and install the DVD, and run Software Update.

I have a new Ipod Nano 7th Generation. When I plug the earphones in, there is no sound coming from the earphones, even thought the Ipod shows the song as playing. Any solutions?
And the Radio app probably doesn't work either.
The headphone jack on the nano is very tight when new. Push the jack all the way in, the plastic on the headset jack should be flush with the body of the nano. -
Why has the new ipod nano no connector for a speaker dock? The white blank at the bottom looks as if one was intended, but then there were design problems?
IKR! But u an order a connector that can plug nto any old speakers and then connect to your charger port and it will play music!

When is the ipod touch going to have a radio built into it, like the new ipod nano
I was wondering when the ipod touch will come out and have radio inbuilt into it like the new ipod nano. I used to have an ipod touch, lost it and got the nano and one of the best things about the nano was the FM radio! So I decided that I wouldn't buy an ipod touch until it had a radio because I listen to the radio more than my music... So I wanted to know how lond I would have to wait.
You are not addressing Apple in this forum. We are only users like you and hve no idea since Apple has not made any announcement. To make a suggestion to Apple go her:

I am from Germany. I have a Question to the iPod nano 1st gen replacement program: Can I upgrade to Ipod touch 8GB? The new Ipod nano Generation is too smal for my hands
Hello! Not a problem, because you will get a Ipod Nano 1st generation as a replacement, not a new / latest generation.

I can't seem to synch my new iPod nano to the legally purchased music from CDs that had been on my old iPod which I've lost.
I had a backup of all those iTunes that I want to import to the new nano.
How can I "synch" the new iPod nano to the music I see in an iTune library? The new iPod nano displays "no music" and
doesn't play anything.Hello PrettyinPinkInk,
You might consider restoring the iPhone, then removing the SIM card after activating the iPhone, so as to use it as an iPod Touch. This should prevent any unwanted association with a phone number, and thus, voicemail, as well.
Using an iPhone without a wireless service plan
