TS1363 I have tried to update my iPhone to the latest update, it is now asking to be connected to itunes and my phone will not connect to itunes at all. I cannot do anything with my phone as it is just locked to asking for the connection to itunes. PLEASE
Also I have installed the latest version of itunes, i have uninstalled my antivirus. I have been trying to resolve this through the pages on apple for the past 3 hours

I receive the message: The file "iTunes library.itl"cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of itunes. I do not know exactly what this means. I have Windows 7 on my computer and was able access itunes until just recently. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes multiple times and that does not work. Sometimes I can get in when immediately after installing, but then if I close it, i cannot get back in. Now, i can't get in at all.
That message is usually a sign that you tried to roll back to an earlier build of iTunes, but occasionally I've seen it connected to a new upgrade. This technique should fix things.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

THE MOZILLA BOX OPENED TO REPORT THE PROBLEM, AND SAID I WOULD HEAR SOMETHING BACK, BUT STILL HAVE NOThi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

I have an iPhone 3GS. At first my phone was dropping service, then I got a pop up from the phone saying to fix this problem restore phone to iTunes. When going onto iTunes I choose to restore to original settings and update to iOS 6. After waiting for the phone to restore, an error came up saying there was a problem restoring the iPhone. So I tried again and the same error comes on. Now I can not access my phone and my phone is set at factory settings. I went back onto iTunes and iTunes does not register my phone. What do I do?!?

ITunes and Quick Time will not load after update
I have updated my ITunes to 7.5 and now I get an error message,sends report to microsoft program had to close... and when I try to open QT I get an Buffer Overrun error. I have tried everything that is suggested at these web pages but no success. I have uninstalled, downloaded, numerous times. My Itunes worked fine before the upgrade, now that I have a new 3rd generation Nano its almost useless. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate the help
Did you ever get this problem resolved? I've been having the same problem now for over 2 weeks, and it doesn't matter what I do, including a system restore, it still won't launch. If I dock my iPod, it freezes and doesn't sync, I've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes twice, and it still won't work.
I got an error message telling that some detection program was preventing it from opening, but when I tried to adjust the program's settings to turn it off for iTunes, it tells me it's required for iTunes.

Upgraded ios on iphone 3GS to ios 6.0. I manually connected to the wifi and it works. After the phone shuts off, it will not connect back to wifi when it turns on unless I reconnect manually again. I have the "Ask to join Networks" button turned on. Frustrating and could get expensive if I forget and start using ATT data. Suggestions??
Settings, Reset, Reset Network Settings. Then attempt to connect again. Passwords will be deleted when you do this, so it will ask for the password again. After that, see if it will connect.

I just downloaded Yahoo messenger app, then uninstalled it. I cannot get to my home screen now. I can move around in settings but cannot get to home screen. Cannot turn off, nor can I receive any calls.
press and hold the home button and the lock button together for atleast 10 secs or till the time u see the apple logo,once you see the apple logo,let go off the keys... good luck

I recently had a virus on my computer and took it into the shop to have it repaired. Ever since, I have not been able to open iTunes. So I uninstalled iTunes thinking that I could reinstall it and it would work. How ever wrong I was! It will download completely, but then it says that itunes had a virus and was deleted. I don't get how it could have a virus if its not on my computer??? I'm extremely frustrated!!!!!! Please Help!

ITunes and app store will not let me update my credit card information

Make sure it's charged.
Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.
