The device is in recovery mode. Do as the image suggests and connect the device to a computer running iTunes and restore. Why is this so difficult to figure out?

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)

Unable to get apple tv to play--never happened before.
I upgraded iTunes and still no response. I did note that airplay feature not showing in iTunes.You need to grab a micro usb cable and restore via iTunes

I just got an iphone 4 and when I go to sync it, it appears in the left hand column but when I click on it there is just a blank screen with the apply logo and a tiny lock.
OK, I think I fixed it.
After trying to restore with an old backup from the phone (it estimated it would take 4 hours) I cancelled and went through the setup menus again, but set it up as a new phone. It then appeared in iTunes and I restored it from the computer, not the phone. It appears to be working, it's syncing my old apps right now.
Summary:
1. Reset settings on phone (hopefully you backed up fairly recently)
2. Set up as NEW iPhone in setup menu on phone
3. Restore from iTunes on computer when it recognizes the phone
4. Cross fingers -
was doing the latest os update on my iphone 4 the update was interuptedby a bad internet connection and now the screen is stuck on an image of the itunes logo with a pic of the usb cord and an arrow in between HELP!!!n

It has been on this black screen with the apple logo and some small white writing at the top of the screen for many hours. I've tried rebooting it and connecting to iTunes but nothing has worked.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!It likely means there was still water inside it and something has now shorted out and permanently damaged one or more components. THE very worst thing you can do with wet electronics is energize them - even a small drop of water inside on any of the circuitry or electrical contacts can cause catastrophic damage.

After updating to iOS 5.0.1 my iphone 4 is frozen on the screen with the apple logo and the progress bar under it. Held the power and home button, the phone shut off, and restarted the progress. If i try to turn the phone on, it keeps telling me to connect to iTunes. Once I do, it asks me to restore, i click restore, but it keeps on freezing at the screen. What is the problem? Error 1603 comes up. Followed the link to apple's page but nothing that was said there worked.

I really need help because that's only phone i got.Just back from Genius Bar and two other people at my table had the same problem. Their 4Ss aren't charging either. One of them had a fried board according to the tech. At least my HW checked out OK. It just won't charge.
The tech tried to tell me that it was because my connector was corroded, which I told him was kind of a weak argument since evidence points to that the update has something to do with it.
They're seeing a lot of these and it looks like they already have a script.
Luckily I had enough juice left to recycle it for like $180, so I picked up a 5S with a new 2 year.
It looked to me like this is going to blow up pretty big. Like class action lawsuit big.
If you have an iPhone 4 or 4S, and you haven't updated it to iOS 7, don't for now. See if a patch comes out that doesn't brick your phone. Or get an induction charger maybe? Don't just update and expect absolutely no problems because too many people are having problems right now. -
i updated my 4s yesterday, but my phone will not work at all now, and will not turn off. It has a itunes image on the screen with an arrow underneath and what looks like the charger lead. i've had it on charge! is there anything else i can do?
Cconnect it to your computer with the latest version of iTunes installed.

On start up of my new iMac it locks on the grey screen with the apple logo and the progress wheel spins. Boot up in safe and this is where it stopped at "BootCacheControl: Unable to open /var/db/bootcache.playlist: 2 no such file or directory. "
Reinstalling MacOS does NOT fix the problem for me. I'm still searching a solution !

External drive not visible on macbook
Hi all I am brand new to the mac from windows, so far so good! However I have an external hard drive that I want to plug into my macbook and back up onto. Problem is when I connect it it is not "seen" in the finder window. The drive is presently form
