TS1363 My Apple ID seems to be engrained into their memory. It is changed on my profile, on the Itunes website, but whenever I go to purchase via my Iphone, it reverts back to my old Itunes account - for which I no longer have a password. HELP!
Okay, basically I had a Iphone 4S, but the glass cracked when I dropped it. I went to the Apple store, we changed my Apple ID, I can login, I can do almost everything on the Itunes website, but not from my phone. My Iphone, even though new, seems to think my old Apple ID is still current?
There is nothing on the website to even remotely indicate this old email address is even active - it is not part of my profile, yet my Iphone keep using this emails address???
Go to Settings > iTunes and App Stores > Touch AppleID, sign out, and sign in with your AppleID.

How can i delete an old icloud account for which I do not have the password
I changed my iCloud and iTunes account on my MAC AIR to a new ID (successfully). The iTunes account on my iPad Air was also updated, but I can't change or get rid of the old iCloud account on my iPad and I don't know what the old password is for the old account. How can this account be deleted off my iPad, please help!
If your device is signed into an old iCloud ID that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device). -
Help!!! I've lost all of my contacts and information after the ios7 update. After the update I plugged my phone into my MacBook and it reverted back to my old icloud account. I checked my MacBook and everything on there is connected to my new icloud account. I'm not sure why this has happened, but I have been trying for two days to get my new icloud account back. My phone won't allowe to log out of the icloud account it is logged into because I don't know the password. Simple solution, reset the password. Not so simple. I don't have the email address associated with the account anymore. So I attempted the security question option. When I entered my birthdate, it said that it was incorrect. I have tried multiple times and nothing will work. Can someone please help me??
If you don't know your password, don't know your security questions and don't have a rescue address or don't receive a reset email, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support. -

Is this on your iPad or computer's iTunes ? If your iPad then tap on your id in Settigns > iTunes & App Store and log out of it and then log back in with the updated version of your account. If your computer's iTunes then you can sign out via the Store > Sign Out menu option and that will then change to Store > Sign In option

How do I stop my ipad from referencing an old apple id? My old Apple ID was my old email address. I contacted Apple and it was deleted by an Apple representative months ago. Problem is...I do NOT know the password for this "old" apple id. I haven't used this apple id in over 1 year and it "suddenly" started to show up. I can NOT update or down load any updates without knowing the old apple id's password either. I am getting help. I was able to contact tech support and they are in the process of helping me within an email reply to "reset" my password from that old Apple id, in the next 24 hours.
Thank you all for your help! I hope we are able to resolve this issue. Again, it is very odd that my "old" email or original Apple ID decided to appear after such a long span. I will keep you all posted as to how it was resolved when I hear back via an email. -

The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

Although your profile says you're running iOS 5.1.1 it sounds like you're running iOS 7 (otherwise you would not need your password to delete the old account). Assuming that's true, and your iCloud ID has changed but you need to delete the old account in order to change to your new one, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I recently purchased a mac for my daughter. On transfering some songs to her machine from my computer, I was asked for authorisation which I provided.
Some songs however, although they play with no problems on my other two machines, on HER computer asked me to authorise the songs with an apple ID and Password that I no longer have and haven't used in about 5 years. The e-mail ID is closed down now, and I can't remember the password.
What do I do?All downloads from the store are tied to the account that downloaded them, so if those songs were bought by that old account then only that old account will be able to authorise them. If you can't remember the password but you know it's security info then you could try getting the password reset via this page : http://iforgot.apple.com - if you can then you can change the primary email address on it by logging into the account : http://appleid.apple.com
If you can't get the password reset that way then you could try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

Atwittsend I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the installed Adobe Creative software titles. It is likely reinstalling Mac OS 10.9 will lead to damage of the licensing files. Please make sure to use the uninstallers located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder.

You can check the purchase history on your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, though I'm not sure if that shows auto-renewing subscriptions. To change your iCloud account to a new Apple ID, go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPad. (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.) After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account using your other ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.
This will not move your photo stream, however. If you have photos in photo stream that aren't in your camera roll and you haven't backed up anywhere else you will need to save these before deleting the account. To do this, open your photo stream album on your iPhone in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos to select them, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. You can then delete the iCloud account and your photos will stay in your camera roll. -
