TS1363 my computer is not recognizing my iphone 5

I got a new computer and it was all working now my Iphone 5 wont recognise

Device not detected in iTunes for Windows
Keep in mind that iDevices are not backup devices.  Syncing a device to a new computer/library will remove all content from the device and replace it with content from the new computer/library.  Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer first.

Recently, my computer is not recognizing my iPhone 4 and so it can't sync.  What do I need to fix this?

Be prepared to lose everything on your iPhone but it should be backed up in iTunes so you can restore from your backup.
    Try Recovery Mode... http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

  • Computer is not recognizing my iphone

I recently purchased a new computer & it is not recognizing my phone.  I'm afraid I'll lose all of my apps, music, pictures, etc... I've uninstalled iTunes & reinstalled & nothing is working. Please help

Check this article: iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your phone. Only if you back up manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
    Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your device without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPhone for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.
There is 3rd party software out there, but not supported by Apple, see this thread:http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2013615&tstart=0

  • TS1363 my computer will not recognize my iphone

My iphone has been working fine with my computer.  After I did an update for itunes today, the phone froze up  and will not work at all.  It has a picture stating to connect it to itunes, which it is.  The itunes will not recognize the iphone now. help!

    Phone not recognised in itunes
device not recognised by iTunes on PC  or  device not recognised by iTunes on Mac
Some of those things which concern itunes also help with your problem.  In particular try rebooting the computer, try a different USB cable to attach the phone or try a different port

  • New computer itunes not recognizing my iphone

    Greetings,
I just bought a new Intel core i5 imac, and set up the new itunes to connect to my library which was located on an external drive. The transfer went smoothly and everything works fine except that the new itunes does not register the existence of my iphone when I connect it to the computer. For the moment I am unable to sync the phone. I looked in iTunes>Preferences>Devices and my phone is listed (5 times) in the Device Backup list. Any ideas how I can get iTunes to recognize my iphone?
    Thanks in advance,
    Peter

Solved it thru more google search. Just re-downloaded the latest version of itunes (no need to uninstall first). That did the trick.

  • HT1386 why my computer can not recognized my iphone 4s

as the title   i dont know why it is that.
like few month ago it can connect  but after that is always said can not recongnized the usb
i tried to uninstal the itunes and   install again   but it not worked.

    1. Remove the headphone.
If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.
    2. Reset PRAM.  http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4405
    3. Reset SMC.     http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
        Choose the method for:
"Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".

  • Computer suddenly not recognizing device

My computer is not recognizing my iPhone 5 when I plug it in to transfer purchases and update.  I have had the phone for awhile and it was working just fine.

Great! It's not the first thing you think of, but my philosophy is "when in doubt, reboot." What probably happened is the AppleMobileDeviceService crashed. This is the easiest way to restart it.

Try resetting it: hold the on/off and home buttons 10-20 seconds until you see the Apple logo (ignoring the off slider that appears first), then release.  If it won't reset you may need to put it in recovery mode and restore it as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808.

If you sync to another computer the iPhone will be erased and the content replaced with the selected content of the new computer.
You don't maintain a regular backup copy of your computer?
You can transfer iTunes purchases from your iPhone to a computer from iTunes. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

  • I recently upgraded to ios7 and now my PC is not recognizing my iphone

I am having several problems.  I recently upgraded to ios7 and now my PC (Windows 7) is not recognizing my iphone.  1) I am getting an error message when itunes opens: "Itunes could not connect to the iphone because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iphone before it can be used with itunes."  How did it get locked and how do I unlock it without losing my data?  What do they mean by passcode?  I don't have a 4-number code to get into my iphone activated.  In fact, I've never had a passcode.
    2) I cannot download my photos from my iphone onto my computer because my computer doesn't recognize my iphone.  In other words, my iphone does not show up on my computer (no iphone icon, no DCIM folder).
    3) This is a separate issue but it is also very confusing: I went online to check my iCloud and I cannot see any data (icloud.com).  But I know that I set up iCloud when I upgraded to ios7 and it backs up my data every night. What am I doing wrong, am I unable to see my data and photos?
Why is this happening?  It was bad enough that when I upgraded to ios7, I lost my Notes - I have no idea why they didn't return.  But now essentially my iphone is not recognized when connected to my computer and this is very frustrating.  I have read numerous previous postings regarding downloading photos onto the PC and regarding this passcode error and cannot find a resolution, so I would appreciate any help.

    No problem!
