TS1367 I cannot start my Macbook Pro!

As the title says, I cannot start my Macbook Pro.
I turned the Macbook on, I heard the startup chime, but stays grey and all I see is the spinning wheel (the one that indicates something is loading).
What can I do for it?  Thanks in advance.

Do a safe boot pressing Shift key. If you can, boot in recovery with Command and R keys and reinstall 10.7

I cannot start my MacBook Pro 15" even after many try's. Could it be due to not ejecting my external hard drive, or have just installed the airport express. Urgent help would be appreciated.

  • I cannot start my MacBook Pro. What can I do?

    Hello guys,
since today I have problems with my MacBook Pro, which I bought in May 2012. I cannot start my Mac. When I push the On-button the apple logo appears as normal but nothing more happens. Sometimes I can also logg me in, but the Mac cannot start and boot up. I don´t know whats the problem, yesterday it worked normally but then I installed a new Itunes version and let it load overnight. Today this problem appeared. What can I do?
I hope somebody can help me.

  • Cannot start up Macbook Pro

I have a Macbook Pro that won't start up. It is running Lion with latest updates. I've inserted the install disk and run utiliies repair disk several times and each one returning a disk OK. It still will not start up. The screen lights, the apple apears, the wheel just keeps on spinning.
I've tried  a couple of times trying to start up in safe mode  A status bar appears under the spinning wheel and goes about half way but 30 minutes later there is still no progress.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to find the answer to a similiar question.  Here's my thread.

What may have happened is an error and a kernel panic, filling up the logfiles.
What I recommend is first to find a way to backup your data without booting the hard drive directly if it isn't already backed up, and then get Alsoft Disk Warrior to repair the hard drive.    You'll probably want an external drive from http://www.macsales.com/
And you'll want to go into Hard drive -> Library -> Logs, System -> Library -> Logs, and Users -> yourname -> Library -> Logs to remove whatever you find there.
If after booting it fills up again, start by removing all startup items in your System Preferences for your user, and rebooting in safe mode with the shift key held down. If the hard drive is over 85% full after removing the logfiles, you may want to look at what were the last applications you installed.
Peer2peer software if installed can be as bad as a virus, because it enables others to access your computer. Insecure wireless networks are just as bad, if they are WEP or no encryption and someone is within 1500 feet of your computer.
If no such software is installed, your RAM probably has failed.    Run the hardware test that came with your computer, by booting with the 'D' key.
If nothing shows up there, it can still be the RAM.   Especially if you've seen any 4 language screens telling you to restart.

  • I cannot open My MacBook pro

i cannot open my macbook pro. It only loads halfway and stays there

If you don't already have a current backup of all data, you must try to back up now, before you do anything else. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
If the machine is connected to the network via Ethernet, disconnect the cable.
If it's connected via Wi-Fi, try to start up in Recovery mode. Select
              Turn Wi-Fi Off
from the Wi-Fi menu in the menu bar.
Try again to restart as usual. While disconnected from the network, you won't be able to log in to a network account on an Open Directory or Active Directory server, but you may be able to log in to an account local to the machine. Post your results.

I cannot get my MacBook Pro to print greyscale on my Canon MG6450. I cannot access the printer driver panel on the Macbook. So I am stuck printing everything in colour and cannot specify which pages I want printed.

    Try resetting the printing system:
OS X Mavericks: Reset the printing system
Next try deleting the system and reinstall the printer..

  • I cannot get my Macbook Pro retina to connect to my BT Home hub.

    Hi,
I cannot get my Macbook Pro Retina to connect to my BT homehub either wirelessly or through ethernet using the thunderbolt adaptor.  I know that this is a problem with my IP address as in Network Settings it tells me that
'Thunderbolt Ethernet has a self-assigned IP address and will not be able to connect to the Internet.'
I know that my internet connection is fine as I can plug the ethernet cable back into my PC and it works fine.  Also, my phone and ipad connect wirelessly just fine.
Bt have told me to contact Apple, but I can't get hold of Apple till tomorrow.
Amyone know how to overcome this?
I did also find my IP address and enter it manually, at which point netwrok settings showed my ethernet connection as green and connected, but it still wasn't working.
    Thanks

Same for wifi.  I have put in my IP address manually for the wifi network and it has gone green and connects to the hub, but gives me an exclamation mark on the wifi bar and still doesnt connect to the internet.
I am writing this whilst connected to the internet on the same laptop but connected to BTFON which is a really slow public network I have access to as a BT customer.

  • When starting the macbook pro, the screen was flashing black and white, then to color to color, any suggestion to fixing this problem?

When i am starting the macbook pro, the screen was flashing black and white, and then to color to color, and the whole process repeat all over again, is there any suggestion in solving this, or is there no way to solve this and i need to bring it to the apple support?
    My computer Spec:
    Macbook pro Version 2011

Sounds as if you're having a problem with your GPU (graphics card). Only Apple can diagnose and fix this, so the best thing would be to take your machine into your local Apple Store or an AASP.

i cannot mirror my macbook pro with apple tv,there is no tab to select in display settings

That's because the mirror setting, known as Airplay does not work with Mac OS X 10.7.5.
You need 10.8 or later and a
AirPlay Mirroring is available with iPad 2 or later; iPad mini; iPhone 4s; iPhone 5; iPod touch (5th generation); and iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer) with Mountain Lion.

Note, Mac OS X 10.9.2 has issues with Airplay, and is the only really secure version of 10.9 at the present time.

  • Looking for grey desktop wall paper at the start of MacBook Pro  OSX Lion

    Hey guys,
I really like the grey wall paper with light texture... the one when you start up MacBook Pro OS Lion and you log in. I'm wondering if anyone know where the file is hiding in computer or anywhere on web to download? I wanna set it as my desktop. It's really easy on the eyes and really clean look.
    Thanks,

I'm going to back up to Firefox 7 next. I'm getting the drift that 8.0.1 and/or flash on 8.0.1 are unstable.
I'll let you know if that solves this problem.
    NOPE. This had no effect.

  • Unble to start my macbook pro

when i start my macbook pro it does not come on....what do i do?

Try Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
If that doesn't help, try Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller
If that doesn't help, boot from your install disc. The startup disk may need repairing >  Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks
