I am trying to print wirelessly from my ipad to an epson stylus SX438W. The connection appears fine on both devices but the ipad cannot connect to the printer. It has been working fine for the past 4 months. Can anyone help?
Have you tried restarting the printer? Reboot the iPad as well.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -

Me and a collegue is administrering our new enterprise BI portal in SharePoint 2013 (On Premise) and have a problem with using a specific Excel file including general ledger data as data source through a BISM file.
This particular BISM file can't be saved without getting the error message "There were errors found while validating the page: Cannot connect to the server or database."
BISM files against other Excel sheets and sources (for example SSAS tabular databases) works well.
Can anyone help us pinpointing whats wrong here, this is a really important stakeholder in our organization requesting this reporting?

Itunes is running high and I cannot connect ot the itunes store. Itunes is useless right now. Computer is not infected with anything. Problem is itunes related not third party plug-ins. help please. Thanks!
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

I have a List which is having around 14000 items in it.while opening that list in datasheet view it is giving error .
Below is a summary of the issue:
After selecting datasheet view beow error occurs:
"Cannot connect to the server at this time. You can continue working with this list, but some data may not be available."
"Unable to retrieve all data."
The item counts displays say 100 out of 14000 items.
Exporting List to excel is giving only 2000 records out of 14000 records.
Other Observations -
This is happening to only one list on the site .There are other lists in the site whose no. of records is equal to 8000 to 9000.They are working absolutely fine without any error.
Also, If I am saving this list as a template and creating another list with it ,then it is working absolutely fine with 14000 records,so the issue does not seem to be related with no. of records as the template list is working fine.
I have checked the Alternate access mapping setting ,its fine.
It should not be related to lookup,datefield or any other column as the list created from it template is working fine with all these columns.
I checked below links also ,but doesn't seem to work in my case.

I am sharing my finding.
1. First install the
KB2552989 (Hopefully you might have already installed it. The KB detetcts it and informs the user.)
2. Then update registry by adding new key for data fetch timeout as mentioned inKB2553007
These two steps resolved the issue in our environment. Hope it might help others as well.

I have updated my MB to Snow Leopard 10.6.3 - I know this means I am a little behind the times but the problems I am now having seem to justify my reluctance. Now am unable to connect to the internet! I use a time capsule connected via a router. Everything is still OK with every other device (PC, I phone, Ipod) in the house so I know the "Network" is still enabled and there is no problem with the ISP. Strangley whenever I boot up the MB it appears to freeze the network such that the other devices also will then not access the internet. To regain access I have to turn off the MB and reset the router. Any help gratefully recieved as I have tried some of the ideas i have found in the internet but nothing is working. Thanks.
That's odd.
Try this: Unplug your Time Capsule and your router. On your MBP, click the Wi-Fi icon and select "Open Network Preferences".
Click the lock icon to authenticate, then click the "gear" and select "set service order". Wherever AirPort (or Wi-Fi - I forget what Snow Leopard calls it) appears, drag it elsewhere in the list. Click OK, then Apply, then power up your router and TC.
If that doesn't result in any change, repeat the above but try making the service(s) you do not need "inactive".
The purpose of this is to reset or at least change your Network Preferences, which somehow got confused upon upgrading to SL. -

I'm sure I will be calling AppleCare, but the problem is, they charge for the phone calls don't they? Because I don't have money to be spending to be on the phone with a support service.
In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.
Also, because my computer is currently down, and I've lost all files how would that effect the use of my iPhone? Because if it doesn't get fixed by the time OS 5 is released, how would I be able to upgrade?! -
Has anyone encountered this problem using auto sync?
I am importing Canon 7D video files (1920X1080 at 30fps) and double system audio (.WAV files from a Nagra LB recorder). I can drag any of the video clips into the project timeline to confirm it's size and framerate. When I use the Synchronize Clip command to combine audio and video, however, the resulting synchronized clip shows up in the project timeline as a 720p clip at 23.98 FPS.
Synchronize clip is definitaley problematic in this version of FCPX, anyway you might want to give this approach a go.
First transcode your native 5D, 7D or 550D files from h.264 to ProRes 422 before importing into FCPX. You can use either compressor or MPEG Streamclip to do this.
Now import your media and only attemp to sync only 1x clip and your H4n audio at a time. Every time I've tried syncing more than one clip, FCPX stacks them on top of each other. I think they should have taken some PluralEyes on this one ;)
I plan to write up a detailed step by step early next week explaining the bugs and workarounds I've found. -
Does anyone know of software that can be used instead of Adobe? I did not know that ipad does not use Adobe, or I would never have purchased an ipad. I am very disappointed, since now I really have no need for it since all that I use needs Adobe.
Adobe is a company, not a software product. Do you mean you need Flash ? Reader ? If the site you're going to requires Flash, see if there is an app from that site in the App Store.
Otherwise, as Jim suggested, if you MUST have Flash, then the iPad was the wrong product for you to purchase. If you're still within the 14 day return period, you could go that route. -
