It sounds like your iPhone is disabled and you cannot enter the passcode because it keeps taking you to the emergency phone call screen. You can either wait the amount of time that it shows on the screen, or you can use the following ariticle to erase your iPhone and set it up as new to be able to use it again:

3. Tap View Apple ID;
4. Enter your user name and password;
5. Tap Country/Region;

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. It depends on what version of iTunes and ios you are using. Usually when one is newer is a newer version of the software it isn't that compatible.

Can't get any response from the Tuner - is it broken?

I'm happily chugging away through my new David Nahmani tutorials and I've discovered that I can get no response from the Tuner. The controls in the window appear to be working, but no line appears in the meter and flat lines appear in the center for pitch and octave. The channel strip indicates normal sound input and variation. I don't have any trouble recording (so far anyway). Is there anything I'm not aware of that could cause this?

Thanks for the reply, Rob. I'm just trying to tune a wind instrument through the built-in mic on my MacBook Pro, but I discovered the answer not too long after submitting the question. As I said, I'm trying to work through the Nahmani Logic Pro and Logic Express 8 book. I've been trying to be very meticulous about the installation and the setup for the tutorials, but I guess I inadvertently made settings changes that interfered with the Tuner, because choosing Logic Express > Preferences > Initialize All Except Key Commands allowed the Tuner to work the way I expected. I assumed the problem must have been bus related after I saw the Tuner respond to internal playback after modifying some bus settings, so I executed that command and all was well (uh, I should probably change that to "most was well", but at least the Tuner is working now). Thanks again.

Connect the iPhone to your computer, launch iTunes.
Select the iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the Sidebar.

I have a similar problem. Bought an external drive to store music and pictures, followed the instructions on several threads here on how to transfer these from my D drive (the back up drive on the computer itself) to the L drive (the Buffalo Linkstation); changed the location of the library to the correct address where all the music files are (I can see them there) having consolidated them there. It could not find any of them unless I individually located them (there are over 9000 tracks so I have not got time to do that). I changed the location back to the original and it found them again. Next I tried following the thread on the .itl file - using shift and selecting the library on the L drive, but it only found 300 tracks, some bought, some transferred, some full albums, some only part of the album, an apparently random selection. I tried going back to the original .itl file and the same happened - it only found the same small selection of tracks. I know the files are still there - I can see them, but I have no idea how to connect itunes to them. Please help!

I think you've already answered the first couple of questions but let's try to get an idea of what might be going on with some preliminary questions from b noir's "smack" for iTunes launch failures:
Is there an error message associated with the launch failure?
If so, what does it say and what (if any) error numbers are there?
If there's not an error message, let's check your QuickTime (its well-being is a requirement for a functioning iTunes).
Go to the XP Start menu > All Programs and try running QuickTime.
Does it start?
If not, then the same question as for iTunes - is there an error message?
If so, what does it say and what (if any) error numbers are there?
Do you notice any other peculiar behavior with QuickTime?

My I-touch isn't being recognized by I-tunes anymore but now Windows 8 has it...how can I get it back to I-tunes???

Somehow Windows 8 got of hold of my I-touch and now it won't get recognized on I-tunes.

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

I can't get my music from i tunes onto my i pod!!

I had music on an external hard drive which i have managed to put into i tunes but when i sync the i pod it doesn't copy them onto the i pod. Is there any method of getting this music onto it?
The music came from an old i pod and was saved onto the hard drive a while ago. I no longer have the old computer or i-pod to import the music again, just the copy on the hard drive. \if i remeber correctly it was put onto the harddrive using an i-dump programme.

Yeah, try asking in the Using iTunes for Windows forum rather than the *Mac OS X Technologies > iSync* that you've posted this in.
iSync is a Mac-only application that has nothing to do with iPods nor Windows.
