TS1368 iTunes says I'm connected to the Canadian store and can't update any Apps until I switch back to the American store

Why would my iTunes account say I'm connected to the Canadian store and it won't allow me to update my apps?

You can try signing out and back in to your AppleID in Settings > iTunes and App Stores or follow this procedure:
1. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID.
2. Tap your Apple ID.
3. Tap View Apple ID.
4. Enter your password.
5. Go to Country/Region in the popup window to change to the desired store.

    If you are the only user on your computer you probably don't have multiple user accounts set up and can disregard that.  If you are using iTunes 11 go to View>Show Sidebar.  Now see if your iPad appears under Devices on the left side when you connect it.  If it does, click on the name of your iPad on the left side and your iTunes sync settings options will appear in folders with tabbed headings to the right.
    If it doesn't appear on the left side, follow the troubleshooting steps shown in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538.

    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
    Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
    Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
    Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
    Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
    Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
    Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
    Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
    If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.
    If the steps above didn't resolve your issue, be sure that your specific alert isn't listed as a possible iTunes Store error. Then, if your issue is still unresolved, follow these steps.

I have two apple id's because when my ipod crashed I had to reset it completely. I have never had any problems with this before, and it has been a year since I got my second id, which is linked to the ipod. My first id is used for the cloud on the same device. My wife suggested I reset documentson the cloud for the second id, however, when I try to log on the cloud with my current id, it tells me I have to set up the cloud on that device, but it is already done, but with the old id.
    confusing I know. I have been on the 'change your password merry-go-round' all day, and I'm getting dizzy! Help!

    Take a look at your remaining memory make sure you have enough memory to download the apps, also try restarting your iPhone by hold down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo.

    Any content is tied to the account that you used to buy/download it - so if you created a new account as opposed to updating the existing one, then you will need to use the old account to download updates to its apps. Can you not update your old account so as to have a new email address on it (e.g. via this page) ?

    I have had this problem for quite some time now and its starting to irritate me.
    I am trying to update my my iTunes version from 10.2.2 to 10.3.1 but it tells me that I am not connected to the internet when I clearly am. Everything worked perfectly (uTorrent, Firefox, Safari, MSN) even the iTunes store and the app store.
    Issue:
    * Open iTunes
    * Click iTunes
    * Click 'Check for updates'
    * Version 10.3.1 is available for download
    - Click 'Download now'
    * MBP says its 'Checking for new software'
    * MBP says 'Software update cannot check for updates because of a network problem'
    * Click 'Network diagnostic'
    - MBP says that my internet is running perfectly
    * iTunes software update closes by itself
    > I have no firewalls on and no anti-virus programs installed at all, everything on the Macbook Pro 15" is standard.
    > I have tried un-installing and re-installing.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Since updating to iOS 6, my iPad 2 keeps loosing connection with iTunes. I have tried changing the date, logging out then back in, iTunes is updated.....what's going on???? I can't update any apps nor can I download new ones.....

    What's going on with iOS6...... Since I updated to it, I have had nothing but hassles....

    Are you losing the connection to iTunes on the iPad or the computer? You are saying that iTunes is updated. Of course iTunes is updated when you update the iOS software. That's a no brainer.
    If you mean that iTunes is updated on the computer, that has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with downloading and updating apps on the iPad itself so changing the date on the iPad, signing in and out of the stores on the iPad .... Doing any of that on the iPad would have nothing to do with iTunes on your computer.
    If .... you have not been able to connect to the iTunes or app stores at all on the iPad - try this ...
    Settings>Privacy>Location Services>System Services (swipe to the bottom of the page to find this)>Location Based iAds>Off.
    If the downloads are stalled or "waiting" - try these suggestions.
    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
    If you can't connect at all - you can also try rebooting your router. Unplug it from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again.

  • I can not use the new Itunes. I have managed to erase my shuffle and can not get any songs from my library onto my ipod shuffle now!!!!!! Tutorials do not help!!!!

    Ineed a manual to use the new Itunes. The simple easy to use version is gone. The new version is TOO complicated !!!!!!!

  • ITunes store error - can't update any apps - HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Every time I try to download my free app updates through iTunes store, I get the following error:
    "We could not complete your itunes store request. There is not enough memory available."
    Any idea how to fix this? I'm running 8.2.1.6, which is the latest version -

    I'm on 8.2.1.6 too. But it worked fine on that version since jesterday, and altough i havent changed anything its not working now.
    Somehow smells like a Problem on the iTunes Server or something like that.
    I am quite sure it has nothing to do with my System, and just to mention it, my Memory is 4 GB (on XP 32 Bit), more than enough. Virtual Memory is also 2 GB and windows is managing it. and theres plenty of space on all Harddrives. There simply CANT be too less Memory all of a sudden.
    I also searched the Web for a Solution but this Thread here was the only thing i found.
    I dunnow if i should try calling the Apple Support Hotline on Phone... its not exactly cheap and i think they wont be able to solve that problem...
    Anyone else experiencing the Problem?
    Anyone found a workaround or solution?
