I already installed my itunes in my windows pc, I tried connecting the ipad device for me to sync it, but, i can not see the device
in in the left side of the itunes device manager.It is not recognized?I already tried disable the antivirus i have and turn off the firewall.still no work..Please!.need help here.thanks

Why is the iPad 2 not recognizing my video from my camera?
have an iPad 2, camera connection kit, Canon T3i. I am trying to transfer video to the iPad 2 via the connection kit and an SDHC from SanDisk, why does it not play? It xfer's the pictures and they show up but all the video file says is MOV in grey?

TS1363 Why is my iPad 2 not recognized by iTunes?
I think I might have interrupted a driver update, but for whatever reason, my iPad 2 (v. 7.0.2) won't show up in iTunes any more. I've gone through the "Help" features, made sure the drivers were updated, checked that the USB cord worked (my iPod Nano was fine), uninstalled-reinstalled iTunes, still no go. The iPad does show up in My Computer (Win 7), but won't show up in iTunes. The Help info has me call up the devmgmt.msn and iPad does appear under Portable Devices. I made an appt at the local Apple strore for the end of the week, but I'm hoping somedone here can help witgh this.
MikeSorry, I forgot to add that I have iTunes 11.1.1.11 and IOS 7.02. When I run "devmgmt.msc" on my computer (Win 7) there's no "Apple Software" or anthing under "Universal Serial Bus controllers", but there is a "USB20FD" is under Portable Devices and the iPad shows up in My Computer. It used to say Apple iPad under "Portable Devices", but it wasn't recognized by iTunes at that point either.

Sorry, but you need iTunes 11 which requires OS 10.6 or higher and a Mac with an Intel processor. In other words, you need a newer Mac.

Suddenly my ipad is not recognized in itunes and claims to a need to be restored.
How do I solve this without loosing data on my ipad ?
I cannot communicate with my ipad anymore. It's indicating to be connected to itunes.If that is what the message on the screen is, you have no choice but to restore the iPad. If you don't have a backup, you will lose everything on the iPad. That's why you should always backup your important data and your camera roll photos.
You can read how to do it here. Pay attention to the last part of the article about using recovery mode. You might need to restore that way.

Why does the iPad Mini not have music play count?
I bought an iPad Mini and also have a macbook. I had listened to various music on my iPad Mini the other day, however when I connected the iPad Mini to the Macbook and iTunes via the lightning connector to sync, it synced the ratings I gave the songs I listened to on the mini, but no play count, as if I had not listened to anything. I hope there is something I can do about this as I often look at my play count!!

It should work work but these kind of bugs pop up between updates, both hardware and software. Try closing all apps in the recently used list on the iPad. Double tap the Home button, tap and hold one of the icons at the bottom till they wiggle then tap the to close them. Tap the Home button to get back to the Home screen then hold the sleep button till you see the slide to power off message. Once it has powered down completely hold the Sleep button till the Apple icon appears.

Many people including myself rely on playcounts to control smart playlist to manage large libraries. Smart playlists can be created to show your most or least played tracks and used more or less as your favorites or other uses. Along with playcounts the date is transferred so to keep a fresh list of music on my smaller iPods a smart playlist set to songs not played in the last month keeps some fresh tunes on it.
Playcounts are also used to manage Podcasts in iTunes to delete older episode. Bookmarks, which can also be effected by this, can mess up audiobooks, movies and podcast playback between different devices. So yes, it does matter. -
I have done everything I can find online to solve my problem, but I still have the same problem. My 1st gen iPad is not recognized in iTunes! Cannot sync! Please, any suggestions from anyone? Anyone else having the same problem?

Trying to get an iPad hooked to iTunes for a guy at work. I can't. His iPad is not recognized on his laptop, but ALL our iPods/iPads are recognized by it. This is an original iPad.

iPad Mini not recognized by iTunes or iMac. Running 10.6.8 and iTunes 11.0.4.
The iPad mini does not even connect to the iMac. Im using the same wire that I charge it with but nothing is recognized.

Pages for iPad is not recognizing the password I assigned to a document. I included a hint, and I know I am entering the password associated with the hint. Is there anything I can do to access my document? i quite the Pages app and restarted it. Now I guess I'll reset the iPad and see if that helps. Thanks!

The Pages password protects the contents of the document. If there were a Finder password, it would protect what you might think of as the "file wrapper" ... the stuff around the file content.
Glad it's not vital. I have to say I only pasword protect those Pages documents that are, in fact, vital.

The most recent version of Pages that you can run on the iPad 1, running iOS 5.1.1, is not compaible with the newest version of pages on the Mac.
If you had the old version of Pages on your Mac, and off hand I can't remember what version it was, you should still be able to use that version and then it will be compatible with the Pages app on the iPad. I updated to the newest version of Pages some time back but was able to keep the older version as well. -
I have an Iphone 5 64gb and an Ipad 4 with Retina Display and both are not recognized by Itunes 11 run in Win 8 pro 64bit.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes 3 times, reseted my devices for many times, changes different cable but everytime I plug my devices in, a small message appear on devices screen ask whether to trust my computer which has been authorised by me via itunes.
I dont know what is the problem here and seeking support from apple community. If anyone have experienced the same issue please share with me your solutions, it would be greatly appreciated.
