TS1372 ipod Error (-69) NOT ALL SONGS DOWNLOADING???

my ipod has been crackling and getting "stuck" of late, error message (-69) coming up, tried restore ipod and reload songs onto it, error still remains? also not all songs are being downloaded onto ipod, any ideas?

I have solved the problem myself!
The songs were all downloaded but did not show up. The reason was that if there are a few songs by the same artist and the details of album are only entered for some of the songs the others do not appear under that artists name. If you look under 'Songs' all songs are there. Strange but true!!

After buying album not all songs downloaded

I bought the CD - Pete & J - Dressed For Conversation and it will not download song # 6 - Never Never, why???
I have quit I-tunes then restarted several times and it still will not download song, I can listen to it from the Itunes Store and it plays the sample as well as I have gone to the Purchased in Itunes store and it plays the complete 1:30 minut song.
Help me get the song back into Itunes.

I assume that they are not just waiting to download (have you tried closing and re-opening iTunes to see if they start downloading ?)
You could try contacting Apple via the Incomplete Download option under the Downloading iTunes Store Purchases tab on this page http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/

IPod freezing and not all songs play

My ipod freezes and cannot unfreeze until battery goes low. How do I get this problem fixed? Also, after I download a song and transfer it to my ipod, the ipod doesn't always play the song. It may play a few seconds, but that's it. I try to redownload the song and the ipod still won't play it. Need help with this thing!!

I would highly suggest "Restoring" your IPOD using the IPODs Updater software. Read here:

Paid for an album but not all songs download!

I've bought an album, and it won't let me download about 12 songs, saying they can only be downloaded as an album. I paid for the album but it won't let me have the songs I paid for.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Sara,
Delete temporary internet files content as suggested in the following FAQ.
Then sign in to Ovi Music, select Account > Download history and try downloading album again.
If you still don't get that whole album please contact your local Care (check the Contact us -link up in this page for the details) as they are able to further assist. Take note of the details also mentioned in that FAQ if you need to contact Care.

Right click the filename that won't download and selsct 'Get Info'. Look at the file path, does it have a //?// in it? That is a problem with Amazon downloads that prevent iTunes from finding the file. Use 'Add Folder' to add the album to your library and try syncing it again

iTunes only allows you to transfer songs from an iPod if they were purchased in the iTunes Store.
As they were transferred from a CD, you have to use an application like Senuti > http://www.fadingred.com/senuti/ It will transfer the music from an iPod to iTunes

Are the songs authorised to the same account?
Often people change their e-mail address over time, and also decide to set up new iTunes account names using that e-mail. You can (and should) continue to use an old e-mail address as your account name. Then you don't run into the issue of having different songs authorised to different accounts.
To check the authorised account for the song, click "Get info" on the song name in iTunes. It will show the account name in the Summary panel.
If you have set up multiple accounts, log into each one, and burn the songs to CD as audio tracks (i.e. like a normal CD, not a data CD). You can then re-import the files into iTunes without the authorisation embedded into the song.

Home sharing iMac and MacBook Pro: not all songs are playable

I set up Home Sharing between my iMac and MacBook Pro so that I could stream the music that's on the iMac to the MacBook Pro. On the MBP there are no songs, all of them are in Apple Lossless format on my iMac. I first tried to use "‘share my library on my local network" but because I wanted the play count to go up as well I chose for "Home Sharing". Setting up was simple. After all preferences were adjusted, I opened iTunes on the MBP and it immediately found the shared iMac library. There's now only one problem: not all songs are playable. Some don't even start. How is this possible and what do I need to do to resolve this?
FYI: the iMac is connected via ethernet to my cable modem which sends a wireless Wi-Fi signal to the MBP. Signal quality is excellent.
Also, is it possible that playcount is only available with Home Sharing and not with "share my library on my local network"?

It very well could be the antivirus app, most are intrusive and debilitate rather than enhance performance and should be removed using the developers instructions. You haven't really told us anything useful such as any settting you may have changed. However if you began working backwards resetting any changes and uninstalling the apps added since the performance issue started then you probably will find your issue.

I FINALLY GOT IT! after months of relentless synching/autofilling problems on my 4th generation i figured out the solution.
this is what i did: plugged in ipod on off mode~>manually deleting my ipod's songs~>restored factory settings~>unchecked automatic synch~>made a new playlist with exactly the songs & order i wanted for my ipod (just dragged old playlists into the new one)~>then autofilled that new playlist into my ipod. came out like a charm! (before u autofill UNCHECK random add songs)
my ipod always ended up autofilling/synching my customized playlists wrong or it would automatically do my music library (and that was way unorganized), so this worked.

Not all messages downloading to Apple mail

I've been having a problem the past couple of days with not all messages downloading to Mail. No rhyme or reason to it and it's just a few, but its a scary situation. I use yahoo and have it on my iphone as well which receives them fine. Any ideas as to why this might be?

In some cases, you might need to rebuild a mailbox to update the list of messages if messages appear to be missing.
